'Clean and lots of space. Separate shower room and bathroom. Good location, close to beaches and Yarmouth.'

'I had such a lovely and relaxing stay in this charming cottage. It has a wonderful old-fashioned character and history while still having everything you need for a comfortable stay. Everything was clean and convenient, and I felt at home straight away. It was lovely to sit in the garden with my tea in the morning and a drink in the evening watching the bees and butterflies around the flowers. The location is quiet and peaceful, and only a few minutes’ walk along the esplanade to the bars,...

'Location. Dusty in nooks and crannies. The inside of the velux window in the bathroom is completely covered in old spiders webs with flies that have been there a while.'

'Schoon, gezellig,liefdevol,compleet'

'Position is amazing. Huge skies and wild coast. We couldn't get a couple of the showers to work effectively'

'Was a warm, well equipped house. Nice view. '

'This is a lovely little hidden place and hosts are super. Highly recommend. You will need a car or a bike, but you will be in the area for the loveliness of the New Forrest.'

'Thanks so much, Cath and Pete for a lovely stay! The house is beautiful, spotless and you are very thoughtful to provide us with everything we needed. Couldn't ask for a more relaxing, nice and romantic holiday.'

'We'd thoroughly recommend this property, where you have everything you need (and more) for a week or two away from home. Very dog friendly, and just a short walk from a lovely park and onto a long, sandy beach where the dogs had a whale of a time. A good sized and secure back garden, and views over The Solent towards the mainland. We can not fault this property.'

'Stains on bed sheets, settee really uncomfortable. Really open and exposed, no privacy, woke up to a stranger walking back of cottage. Cleaning not the best. Only a few plates. Nice location shame property let it down. '

'The farmhouse is very comfortable and has everything that you need. There are many pleasant dog walks close by and there is a stoney beach, which is only 20 minutes walk away, a favourite place for our dog and us, as there is also a very nice pub there, that does excellent food . I would definitely stay here again.'

'Lovely house and will stay again - just missing some small touches like washing up liquid, shampoo, shower gel which we are used to in most Air B & B we stay at - almost like a small welcome pack. Location wise was perfect for us - local pub and lovely beach all within walking distance.'

'Lovely accommodation, great location and welcoming hosts. Definitely recommend.'

'What a wonderful home from home Hazeldene is and what a wonderful host Jan is - responsive and helpful. The house is very comfortable and extremely well equipped. Plus a lovely large private garden that was great for our dogs and with every configuration you could want for relaxing and dining. Jan and her family have obviously worked hard to create this haven but clearly enjoyed thinking of every detail to make your stay fun and interesting, especially for young ones with lots of toys, books...

'Good location, very clean but stairs extremely steep which would be a big problem for the elderly/young and the garden is a trip hazard and needs attention. Having stayed in other properties in Ryde we dont consider it to be value for money as needs a refurb and don’t know how a family of 4 would cope with the bedrooms !'

'We had a wonderful stay at 1 Apse Castle Cottage — a beautiful, character-filled retreat nestled in peaceful woodland. The cottage is spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and full of charm, with a cozy log burner, luxurious bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchen. Beds were super comfy, and everything felt welcoming and homely. The location is ideal for exploring Shanklin and the wider Isle of Wight. We especially appreciated how dog-friendly it was — our pup loved it! Truly a magical place. We’d...

'Highly recommended beautiful house located in a lovely quiet road. The house has lots of room and is clean and bright. The house is fully equipped including indoor and outdoor games and is a great stay for families. A lovely well kept garden. The location is beautiful, clean and picturesque. Short walk to local shops and village pub. Walking distance to Bembridge beach. Local residents are friendly. We will definitely stay here again on another visit to the Island. '
