'Host was lovely and welcoming on our arrival, house was very clean and had all the facilities we needed for an overnight stay while cycling the Shimanani Kaido trail. Because of the holidays, there was not much open for dinner nearby, but we were notified in advance so that we could get dinner groceries on our way in.'

'The house is very spacious and quiet Outside the house is the endless countryside When there are no clouds, you can still see many stars. The landlord is very nice. 'The house is massive and super cute! Lots of space to sleep and hang out. Full kitchen (cutest tiniest oven ever), and free washer/dryer with soap provided. Bathtub has an automatic heating feature which was super cool coming from a Canadian who has never seen this before. Super close to the ferry port. Fairly accessible by public transport from Hiroshima airport. '

'Akita and Rei were great hosts. Their house was fully stocked with everything you need, especially the kitchen. The house was located at a quiet neighborhood. You could walk to the beach and fishing port. We met locals who were really nice to lend us fishing poles for our stay. You could feel the real Japanese daily life and hospitality during the stay. Highly recommended for travelers who love experiencing the Japanese culture.'
