Pestana Group-accommodaties in Funchal

I have stayed in this hotel for the first time, it was also my first time on Madeira. I travelled alone and stayed for 4 nights. The hotel is located in a beautiful garden, its actually BETTER than what you see on the photos! Hotel's personnel are all so attentive and make you feel so welcome and comfortable. The food at lunch and dinner restaurants is really good. I was very positively surprised! For instance, I have stayed in a few Four Seasons hotels, which have really high standards. But if...

A historic place with the level of service you expect on a place like this. We love to come back for our next special occasion. If you are not exceptional rich it makes a huge dent in your holiday budget.

The hotel is very charming, and the surrounding gardens are beautiful and spacious. Big swimming-pool and lots of space to relax. The city-centre is easily reachable by short Uber-ride (they also have a free transfer at the hotel). The quinta itself is stunning and has many historic features. Our room was big and the bed was comfortable, the bathroom had a decent size. However the room was slightly musty and felt a little overused - nothing to worry though. A highlight was certainly the...

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The grounds are lovely and well maintained, and the large swimming pool is a real plus. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and having a kitchen was very convenient. The parking was also easy and convenient, which was especially useful as we had a rental car. The staff were polite and helpful, and we enjoyed the breakfast. We only tried dinner at the hotel once. It was fine, but there are several good restaurants nearby, and we personally...

Very good hotel with bar-restaurant, swimming pool, spa-(services). The hotel is on 20/30 min walking distance (down-hill, so walking back is uphill) from the shopping mall, harbour/boulevard. A welcoming drink, happy hour (discount on drinks). Free shuttle service to the mall @ some times a day available. The restaurant has a very good menu card and very good and friendly services. The garden-diner can be recommended. Excellent quality, price, wine, services, and mingle with people (if you are...
