'I had an amazing experience at this hotel during my recent trip. It’s located in Workington, just a short drive from the Lake District, making it a great base for exploring the area. The location was convenient yet peaceful, with beautiful surroundings and easy access to hiking trails and charming villages.
The room was spotless, cozy, and offered lovely views. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, always ready with great recommendations and a friendly smile....

'Very nice family run hotel. Wide range of food on the menu, all excellent and well priced (large portions). Wide variety of drinks available from the bar. Very welcoming and the locals that visited the bar were all good for a chat. Will be staying again.'

'Dining options was limited unlike the other stays like premier Inn etc where we get attractive breakfast.
There were no toothpaste and brush set kept in bathroom where they will be kept in most of the hotels.

I was a little disappointed to see Haigh Whisky is no longer served. When we first stayed here, Barry introduced me to Haigh cocktails.
We will revisit when the hotel refurbishment is complete. '

In deze kamer wel een oud springveren matras en wiebelig bed. uitstekend restaurant, prima service en ruim assortiment bier aan de bar. 'Only came in contact with one member of staff at the desk, she was very polite and helpful. Room was clean, bed was comfy. Shower pressure could be better but it's still usable. In a nice location, very quiet at night.'
