Op vijf minuten lopen van centrum van de stad. Uitstekend bereikbaar per auto. Grote parkeergarage. Naast bus- en treinstation. Gezellig bar en restaurant. Uitstekend eten.

The hotel was outstanding. We especially liked the ability to walk into Galway and also were able to walk to the ferry to the Aran Islands and the train station. Lastly, we took advantage of the Spa which I would highly recommend.

When we arrived at this hotel and checked in we were informed we had been given a complimentary upgrade. When we went to the room and opened the door it was already occupied by someone else. We were given another room that was much smaller than the one we had booked. We did not have a very good experience at this hotel. I would not recommend or stay there again.

I really enjoyed our stay here. My one comment is that the bathroom in the rooms seems really dated. Its a small thing and completely livable with. Everytging else was fantastic.

The Galmont was in a fantastic location for easy access to downtown and the motorway. It was clean, updated, and all staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was delicious and full of a variety of options. Highly recommend!

Amazing
Amazing stay, Stayed 1 night with my partner and did not leave the hotel - only for shopping which was a quick walk to Eyre square. We had dinner in the hotel bar which was delicious as well as amazing service and food at breakfast the next morning. Couldn't recommend the hotel enough.

Great location, not very soundproof rooms
We had a decent stay at Galmont. This review is based on a deluxe room with sea view. Good: - Close to train station and main streets. - Very friendly staff. - Spacious room with nice view. Could be better: - Soundproofing in rooms. We heard both TV noise and people talking from adjacent rooms. Noise from the road outside was also fairly audiable. Earplugs are highly recommended. - Draft from window, not very well sealed. - Quite slow and not very attentive service in the Coopers restaurant when we visited. Food was good though.

Enjoyable stay however the constant email for add ons wasn’t necessary or again at check in. 12 O’clock check out on Sunday was welcome. Room very comfortable. View was ok over the water but prudent pay the extra for it if we returned.

Hotel was lovely, the trainee on reception was amazing on check in, room was spacious and clean. My only downfall would be our experience in the restaurant upon arrival it took quite a while to be seated once our starter came out my partner was given a soup but not a spoon after 10 minutes of not being able to find the restaurant staff we had to walk to find someone for a spoon. Then when wanting to pay the bill again we could not find a restaurant staff member it was only when a food runner came out he went to find someone for us

Service was absolutely fantastic. Whatever we needed for the room was sent up right away. The staff was exceedingly helpful with any questions we had. Breakfast is fantastic. We will absolutely stay here again next visit to Galway.
