Actually I'm surprising myself by saying I really enjoyed the value of National Inns. Considering I had assumed Saigon Inn represented the standard in fair-value motels in and around Disneyland, National may have just raised the bar on my locals-only evaluation standard.
Having had sampled Saigon Inn the night before, I must say the larger T.V. alone (not withstanding the fact Saigon Inn doesn't even offer the equivalent room with a microwave) out performs its competition a full triple
Hamilton's lower than Saigon.
The cash only $50 deposit accompanied with a no visitors warning that felt like a threat minus the viel was my only caveat.
Overall I felt the management ran the place with practical vigor no doubt formed by the seedy nature of the resident demographic. It works. I strongly recommend National even if you have a middle scale preference.
