'Cheri the host went above and beyond the call of duty. She made sure we had everything needed which for me was the coffee but kids loved the popcorn and other snacks. Super comfy for our stay for my mother’s funeral. Little blessings like books bottled water and plenty of blankets and pillows…'

'This home is very convenient to Indiana Dunes. It is stocked with everything you need in the kitchen. The stairs are steep and my 14yr old did fall once so make sure you are able to navigate stairs. Able bodied and non-clumsy people will have no problem. You can walk to get a delicious Gyro just around the corner. The train didn't bother us at all, It is an old house but it is fixed up nice. Pretty quiet for sitting right in a town. Outside patio area is nice. We are country folks but we felt...

'The property is very clean and modern. Very centrally located for adventures at the dunes. We loved our stay. The host is extremely responsive and assisted with suggestions for dinner. It took us only 5 minutes to drive to the beach area from the property which was amazing. And the host is very kid friendly. 'It was a fantastic experience from arrival to departure. We've played the course every year and our group comes from all over Chicago. It was great to stay the night and enjoy the property versus driving back at the end of our round. The hospitality was great and the accommodations were first class.'

If you intend to cook anything in the oven, you may want to bring along some disposable aluminum cookware. There were plenty of pots and pans for stove-top cooking but not much for baking and roasting.'

'The house was nice and very stocked with everything we need .'

'A nice house, everything is fine, you just have to take into account that there are many mosquitoes and flies'

'Very cute house in a great location. Very convenient to The Dunes beaches and hiking.'

'nice location, nice views of the lake. we also went to the dunes, and took a train to Chicago. Plenty of room in this rental.'

'Host offered nice amenities. First night was lovely. Fiddkehead had great food. MC proper is beautiful. It would have otherwise been a very nice trip. Beware: This is a duplex with a top and bottom unit. Our second night was sleepless, with a rowdy party all night even past 4 am. Pounding up and down the floor. Scraping of the heavy metal kitchen chairs along the ceramic tile floor. Loud music. At one point we thought there was a fight. Police were called twice. Beware that there is nothing they...
