It is waterfront, but i wouldn't call it beachfront because the 'beach' is narrow with course coral fragments and while the water is shallow the bottom is covered in sea grass.
Also, while the staff are great, they each seem to have a friend or two visit for a while, gathering in the kitchen - and talking. Loudly. So loud we could hear them plainly in our room with door & windows closed. Thry were gone by 8 or 9pm, but it makes for a long day when you're trapped inside with the bar or room due to the weather.
Lastly, our room smelled of mildew, and so did another room when i asked for an alternate. Mildew might be tolerable for a couple days, but not a week. Its probably in the bamboo strips lining the interior walls.
