'Super nice property in lovely Kingsmill. Noticed noise from above for the first time. (we’ve stayed here before). Walls must be thin. '

'We had a lovely last minute vacation. The property was very homey and had everything we needed. Communication was prompt and pleasant. The area was quiet and the little yard was perfect for our dog. I would advise planning ahead for any trips for groceries and activities. While we enjoyed our first experience on the car ferry, we did need to adjust our schedules a bit. It was a great place to relax and have some late summer fun before school started. '

'The home was perfect and was in a great spot. I enjoyed the walk to Yorktown, the history, and plus the food. If you get a chance make sure you go Farmers market on Saturday’s. Nice walk and there was some amazing things at the farmers market. '

'The interior furnishings could stand to be updated and there was some remnants of a party before us but the staff was responsive and communicative, the area beautiful and serene. The beds and furnishings were comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!'

'The location of this condo was excellent. There is lots to do nearby. It is well equipped with everyday essentials. If you like your morning coffee as I do, bring your own mug. The Keurig is a small 6oz maker. Though this did not hinder my stay at all. The pool was just outside and very convenient. There is an ice machine for all to use, by the pool. 'This home was immaculately clean and organized, with more than enough necessities for a pleasantly relaxing stay. The view was absolutely amazing, and the setting quiet and peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and communicative. Definitely would stay again. '

They've compiled a binder with just about everything you need to know about the island, the area, restaurants, etc. The cottage feels like home, and it's proximity to the York River provided lovely views, as well as a wide array of birds, from eagles to osprey to herons and more. The cottage was so comfortable that we didn't even mind being rained in for a day. '
