The owner, Miguel, checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed, and provided many thoughtful items throughout the house, including great information about the area. My kids enjoyed playing horseshoes in the backyard, and my husband and I liked swinging on the front porch and enjoying the warm weather. It was a short and easy walk into town from the house. 'The house was wonderful, cozy, comfortable and the owner was 30 steps away when we needed dishwasher soap. The two block walk to the town square with restaurants, shopping, wine tasting room and THREE ice cream stores was too good to be true. Lawrence (the owner) met us at the property, instructed us on the appliances and made us welcome. There are two more units (a one bdrm and a two bdrm) on the property which would be a great group gathering place in a wonderful town.'

'I absolutely love this charming little cottage. It's so thoughtfully decorated, well stocked, comfortable and homey. The owners did a beautiful job restoring it and keeping the historic charm. And they were super responsive, friendly and easy to reach while respecting my privacy (they live down the street). The location is fantastic — just a short walk to historic main street and all their restaurants, cafes and shops. The perfect place for one or two adults to stay. There are trains nearby that...

'Loved staying at this lovely cottage! Debra was an amazing hostess. Great location very close to the square and walking distance to Southwestern. Our daughter is a senior and we wish we found Debra's cottage 4 years ago when our daughter was a freshman. I highly recommend for a couple or family with 1-2 kids. My mother in law joined and it was a perfect and comfortable place to stay.'

'Nice neighborhood and beautiful home for a family stay. The host communicated well, and the soap and dryer sheets were a very nice added touch for our extended stay. The access to the home was great, and the home is around a lot of great places to eat and fuel up. '

'The 2 BR we stayed in for 6 days was fantastic! Beautiful floor to ceiling windows with spectacular views of the river and city skyline. A 2 min walk from Rainey St. but we never heard the loud music or had to worry about rowdy crowds. Also a 2 min walk from Lady Bird Lake with a great walking/running trail. Would highly recommend this property for both short and long term stays. '
