Minuten afstand van skigebied Eldora, Nederland, Central City. Vernieuwde, vernieuwde hut, 2 slaapkamers met queensize bedden, 1 badkamer, houtkachel met centrale verwarming, gasbarbecue, snel WiFi, kabel met Netflix, surround sound stereo, dvd. Verbeterde apparaten, nieuwe wasmachine en droger, slaapkamer is nieuw ingericht, en heeft een arts keuze matras, met verbeterde bedden. Drink 's ochtends koffie op het dek of in de serre. Cabin eigendom wordt begrensd door National Forest geweldig om te wandelen, mountainbiken, langlaufen en sneeuwschoenwandelen. U kunt ook genieten van Alpine en Nordic skiën op 15 minuten afstand bij het skigebied Eldora. Casino's, spa, restaurants, ski-supermarkt en nieuw gebouwd recreatiecentrum Gilpin Co met zwembad, apart kinderbad met glijbaan en fitnessruimte, evenals een schaatsvijver liggen op korte rijafstand. Gelegen op 1,5 km van de hut is de bar 'Roy's Last Shot' en het restaurant biedt een uitgebreid menu, pooltafels, buitenterras en is kind- en hondvriendelijk. Mid county liquors bevindt zich naast de deur. Prachtig uitzicht in de buurt, omgeven door nationaal bos. Nabijgelegen steden zijn onder Rollinsville ongeveer vier mijl afstand: Black Hawk en Central City ongeveer 17 mijl afstand. Wildwaterraften in Idaho Springs, op 30 minuten rijden. Donna and Don are incredible hosts! Very supportive and responsive. The pictures online don’t do this cabin justice. It’s absolutely beautiful. My son was unable to get his car up the hill and we got trapped in for a day even though they very clearly had just cleared the driveway for us. They started reaching out to neighbors about parking his car so we could enjoy the city while we were there. Roy was so nice to allow us to park about a mile from the cabin. What an absolute blessing everyone was! We enjoyed our time as a family so much thanks to Donna, Don AND their friends!! ❤️

We loved our trip to the Dancing Bear! We've stayed at quite a few vacation rentals/condos in the Rockies and this one is definitely one of our favorites. Comfortable space, well-equipped kitchen, cozy wood stove, and we loved the access to National Forest land out the door for walks with our pup. Don and Donna went out of their way to make us feel welcome and make sure we had what we needed for our stay. We hope to come back again some time!

The cabin itself was very adequate with direct access to the Roosevelt National Forest. We loved sitting on the porch watching the little birds and squirrels come to the open feeder. The only issue was that VRBO did not send the email with the door codes so we had to contact the owner for access. Donna was quick to respond, though. Go there. Go to Nederland and take a walk around town. So nice! door codes which

Backed up to a national park. Could it get any better? This cabin, boasts all the amenities plus a peaceful, quiet mountain experience. What a great place to stay!

This is a great property in the mountains to get away and unwind. My brother and I decided to do a quick trip for my 40th birthday with some friends. Plenty to do around the area especially in Black Hawk with the casinos. *The porch is in poor conditions so be careful

We have traveled 3 years in a row from Michigan to Colorado with our 3 dogs and have always been pleased with our stay. Donna is very prompt to respond to any questions. The accommodations are a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle. The wildlife this year was more active than the last couple years. All in all we highly recommend staying at this cabin. It’s perfect.

The owners were wonderful with their communication and helpfulness. It is a very spacious and clean home. Very well-situated property between Black Hawk and Nederland. The place was so quiet and relaxing that we decided to stay another day, and the host was so gracious and accommodating. Highly recommend this property and we will visit again.

Bear cabin has everything one would need for a delightful stay in the mountains. The backyard opens up into a national forest and the cabin itself is both spacious and cozy. Nederland and Golden Gate State Park are just short drives away. We’ve been coming back to this cabin for several years now. We’ve made a lot of wonderful memories here! I can’t recommend it enough.

The reason it’s a 3 star rating is because the hot tub amenity was the only reason I booked this particular cabin. The owner knew that the hot tub was listed as their cabins amenity but said that there is a “community hot tub” and community pool down the road. Definitely false advertising. And after I sent a screen shot of the hot tub as first amenity listed on their listing, hot tub amenity was removed. Also the cabin listed as “remote”, its remote in the vicinity of a highway but the cabin is surrounded by other cabins that you can visibly see, and people walking on the road that runs in front of the place can see your cabin. So if you’re looking for a hot tub or privacy, this is not the place.

Donna's place was great. Felt secluded, yet close to things needed. The fireplace was fantastic, as well as having access to the snowshoeing gear to enjoy the trails behind the house. Responsive and detailed communication, and smooth check-in and out processes.

Great little place in the mountains for our snowy weekend. We booked this place over the MLK holiday weekend and was anticipating nearly 8-12" of snow. The owners were both very responsive during 0 degree hot water issues. It was the most picturesque snowy weekend near the cozy warm woodburning stove. We used the house snowshoes to romp around the snow. We had great memories in this place and would love to visit again!

This cabin was the perfect quiet getaway! My partner and I needed a break from work and regular life, and this lovely spot in the mountains was a great choice. The internet may have been slower than we’re used to, but it worked fine for being way out in the woods. The views were gorgeous, and an easy drive into Nederland - such friendly people - gave us access to any supplies we needed. We’d definitely come back to Dancing Bear, and happily recommend it to friends!
