'The house was very clean and matched the photos exactly. The great room was even bigger than expected! Unfortunately the large walnut tree that provides shade also covered the deck and yard with debris - which is toxic to dogs! So, I had to walk mine on leash in the park up the street. The walking trail across the street was great, as was the Philly pizzeria next door. Just wish we could have enjoyed the outside.'

'Hosts were great, helpful and responsive. The Home is amazingly historic and so certainly has its limits, but it should not mean it cannot be warm and comfortable with decor and furnishings. There is no HVAC upstairs so space heaters were fussy to maintain and keep on with timers, etc. There is only two lamps in the home, so all rooms rely on ceiling fan lights - which are effective but do not allow a more relaxed evening or early morning atmosphere. 'It was clean, beds were comfortable and there were many unexpected extras like coffee, snacks, water. Beer and soda for purchase, qtips, cotton balls,, body wash, shampoo and cream rinse, makeup remover pads, toothpaste and toothbrushes. Also plenty of toilet paper and very easy to get into. Having a light on the porch is fantastic because I’ve arrived at other places at night like this time and there was no light so you’re digging for your phone to turn the flashlight on. 'Had a great time and the house was perfect for our whole family. We got to walk down the street to see the parade of lights and woke up to snow the next morning. The boys got to go sledding and build a snowman. What a treat for us Texans to see and play in the snow. The kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms had everything we needed to feel at home. '

'We reserved this home for a family reunion vacation. We had family visit from all over the country. When we arrived, we couldn’t believe how beautiful it was. Not only was the property huge, it was absolutely gorgeous. The home was beautifully decorated and was so cozy. The pool was perfect, and we loved kayaking and fishing on the pond.
