    Gelegen in een regenwoud, met uitzicht op de golvende surf en met absolute privacy, Ocean Farm is zoals niets dat je ooit eerder gezien hebt. Het huis is ontworpen door de beroemde Sydney architect, Espie Dodds en onlangs bijgewerkt door de eigenaren. Het huis bestaat uit:

    * Master Bedroom, ensuite, kingsize bed. De hoofdslaapkamer is halfvrijstaand van de rest van het huis en biedt extra privacy en afzondering.

    * Master Guest, ensuite, kingsize bed. Schuif de deuren naar het noorden omhoog en u ziet regenwoud, open de oostelijke deuren en u ziet de Stille Oceaan.

    * Gastenkamer, kingsize bed. Met gebouwd en uitzicht over de Stille Oceaan.

    * Gastenkamer, 2 eenpersoonsbedden. Met gebouwd en uitzicht over de Stille Oceaan.

    * Enorme aparte Rumpus / Media Room - met Blu-ray / dvd-speler, beamerbioscoop, tafelvoetbal en tafeltennis. Dit is waar we 3 uittrekbare sofa's hebben - queen size. Vrij comfortabel .. maar niet zo mooi als de andere luxe bedden.

    * Open woon- en eetkamer. Enorme maar intieme en vul je met een gevoel van ontspanning.

    * Draadloos internet overal

    * Volledige secuirty en back-to-base alarmen

    * Intern atrium / barbecue en gasbarbecue

    * Grote volledig gevulde open haard

    * De manager (die ook een part-time politieagent is), woont op de boerderij. Hij is er om u te helpen met vragen of onderhoud.

    Buiten...

    Het huis is gelegen in het midden van een werkende 350 hectare rundvlees hobby boerderij. Je zou kunnen worden gewekt door het snuffelen van een 500kg vriendelijke koe in de nacht, maar ontspan, alles wat hij wil is het gras. U kunt geen buren uit het huis zien of horen, maar u kunt 1,5 km lopen naar het noordelijke einde van Werriong's Werri Beach.

    Gedurende de dag kunt u wandelen, vissen, lezen, zwemmen of gewoon in bed blijven. Zodra u op de boerderij rijdt, wilt u niet vertrekken. We raden u aan om uw weekendvoorraad mee te nemen, als u het papier of een professioneel gemaakte koffie nodig heeft, Gerringong ligt op 5 minuten rijden.

    Wij zullen alle benodigde informatie verstrekken die u nodig heeft zodra u aankomt en we hebben een full time manager op de boerderij om eventuele vragen te beantwoorden.



    Enkele details...

    * De boerderij is 1. 5 uur ten zuiden van de luchthaven van Sydney

    * Het wordt regelmatig door de eigenaren gebruikt als een weekendje weg

    * Het heeft 3 nieuwsgierige emus die zijn woonplaats hebben genomen en zijn vriendelijk

    * De eigenaars vinden het net zo aangenaam om in de winter te komen (minder warmte en meer branden) zoals in de zomer (met zwemmen en surfen en vissen om ze te vermaken)

    * We kunnen niet overnachten voor groepen van meer dan 8 personen per nacht - Ocean Farm is een gezinswoning en de risico's van meer dan 8 mensen zijn gewoon te groot.

    * Kleine kinderen: het huis is architectonisch mooi, maar niet geweldig voor kleine kinderen die kunnen vallen. Het balkon heeft geen balustrades, daarom vragen wij allegenen die kleine kinderen hebben om na te denken over de gevolgen van een val en alle verantwoordelijkheid te nemen voor die kinderen

Thankyou for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. We loved it; there is so much attention to detail in the rooms and the layout, the sun shone, the kids spent the entire day in the pool and I loved sitting in the bay window gazing at the view and watching the emus. It was a privilege to be able to stay there.Craig the farm manager was very warm and welcoming too, leaving us in total privacy with his mobile number in case we needed it. We would love to return next year.

I don't really know how to describe just how phenomenal Ocean Farm is. Our group have been to some pretty spectacular places in the past 10 years but this takes the cake, and eats it too.As you drive through the gate and over the hill towards the property, you just know that life stops and Ocean Farm begins. The pool, the deck, the BBQ atrium, the rumpus room, the TV, the emus...just awesome. Awesome.And a massive thanks to Craig - very helpful and left us to our own devices but was always at hand if we needed.We will be back many times.

Us girls have been going away together every year for the past 11 years and this is the first house that we all agreed we will return to in the future. The houses we have stayed in in the past have all been very luxurious (only the best will do!) but Ocean Farm was something else and Craig was very helpful too. So we will be back and will make sure it is in the warmer months so we can enjoy the stunning pool. Emus were well fed and whales came past every day, magnificent! We enjoyed a family celebration with 4 generations at this magnificent location.

Ocean farm has probably the most spectacular views we have ever encountered in a home stay. Totally cut off from the rest of the world, yet close enough to towns and cities for supplies.Drew is a thoughtful host - the chilled champagne for purchase is a great touch ! We felt privileged and at the same time comfortable in this unique setting. We will treasure the thoughts of our time together here and look forward to returning.

5 stars is simply not enough!!

I knew this place would be amazing, but honestly, when we arrived it exceeded all expectations. Simply beautiful. Plenty of room for 12 people, fantastic facilities... the view... no words or photos do it justice. Cannot recommend highly enough for family getaways. 5 minutes from Gerringong shops, just over an hour from Sydney, tucked away from the highway - couldn't ask for a better location. Favourite part was waking up to resident horses coming up to the house to say Hi (and eat a carrot or two). Divine, would come back in a heartbeat.

The perfect family getaway

I don’t think we’ve ever stayed anywhere with such a spectacular view. It was a family getaway with grandparents, us and kids. 10 people and everyone was comfortable. The living area is gorgeous but your eye is constantly drawn to the view. The kids (ages 9-12) happily wandered the fields and we all left feeling revived and relaxed. Just fabulous!

Wonderful property

We loved our stay at Ocean Farm, the property is really well laid out and works brilliantly for 4 couples. The views are varied and magnificent and the there is the right mix of luxury in a homely welcoming atmosphere. Privacy, solitude and quietness are a particular delight here resulting in a most relaxing stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ocean Farm for a relaxing celebratory week with friends and family. The house is beautifully positioned amid acres of farmland overlooking the ocean. The property is for the most part well appointed but could really benefit from a few updates and some simple maintenance. The fly-screen doors and the video/TV system need some attention. The pool is delightful but we missed a spa pool which would have been a great accompaniment to the infinity pool. The kitchen is well equipped and very workable with a coffee machine and a full range of cooking implements, cutlery and crockery. Thanks to caretakers Craig and Alison who promptly looked after any request with a smile. We would recommend this property for a truly relaxing break.

Heaven on earth

We absolutely loved our stay at Ocean Farm. The tranquil setting was just what we needed to sit back and relax and have some real R&R. I was married in the area and while we had a load of family from out of town (which caused us to delay our honeymoon) this retreat was cozy yet luxurious! Everything you need and want. The pool is amazing!! And the manager, Craig, was so lovely, helpful and curtious. My family and I would highly recommend this property and we hope to stay again!!

Private rural Oasis by the Sea

Ocean Farm- a private rural Oasis right beside the sea at Gerringong on the beautiful NSW South Coast. What an amazing place to have spent 3 nights with our families during our Wedding weekend (ceremony/ reception held down the road at lovely Bush Bank Weddings). Check out the movie/ video to get an appreciation on the views and property. Although we did not get to spend much time at the property it was great to take a walk late one afternoon through the paddocks and get some nice photos. Large loft/ playroom was a hit with the kids. Bathrooms are a little dated and pool was cool but refreshing (early March) due to no solar panels and heating costs but not complaining by any means. This beautiful property will take your breath away. The view is outstanding and the huge bay window with comfy cushions and full glass windows and wrap around verandah was just bliss. The rooms are all queen with own bathrooms and the kitchen just divine to cook in. The hide away games room with huge projector screen is great for the South coast rainy days that can occur. The owner and site manager were just lovely and helped with everything. Great house for a big couples catch up or a girly weekend away.

We went to Ocean Farm as four couples all with young babies (10-17 weeks). It was the perfect retreat for us as new families.The property was amazing. The bedrooms all large with great beds and all with a good view. The living spaces were both spacious with plenty of room for everyone. We did not feel like we were on top of each other.Possibly the best element of the property was its remoteness from other properties. It felt like we were all alone and had complete privacy, which was great.Drew, the owner, was also super helpful throughout the whole process.I would recommend this property to everyone.Oh, and the pool was a nice touch!

Irrespective of the bad weather we braved the pool many times, cooked up a storm three times daily and built a roaring fire each evening to roast marshmellows and simply admire. We didn't leave for two whole days and even then ventured for 2hrs into Kiama one day and another 2hrs into Berry the next.....only to grab more provisions. Woolworths delivered our homeshop order (placed online prior) within hours of our arrival so we were stocked. Cows visited like clockwork each sunrise. I fought with the coffee machine twice - it won and withdrawal set in but other than that.......an excellent experience.

Huge bedrooms and bathrooms (all with amazing views), a kitchen stocked with all of the essentials, a house full of all home comforts, all in a beautiful and peaceful setting. We were lucky enough to spend 5 nights at Ocean Farm, and did not leave the property once! If you want to treat yourself to something out of this world, book a stay at Ocean Farm, you won't regret it. We will be back!

The only warning I'd give would be in regards to the gravel driveway that leads into the property - arrange for a 4WD! Other than that - absolutely PERFECT.

Thank you for allowing us to relax in such breathtaking surroundings. The house and location are simply stunning and luxurious, the property truly exceeded our expectations. It felt like a 5star resort but even better. The best holiday house in Australia! We used the fire place everyday due to the rain and bad weather which we had absolutely no complaints aboutthe entire weekend was very relaxing. While on the property we saw sea eagles flying around and whales swimming past...truly amazing!

All I can say is you won't want to come home. Spectacular view, luxurious, comfortable and so unique. There is nothing you will want for as it is all there. Fantastic, highly recommend and will go back again.
