'The house was clean and decorated beautifully, in a great neighborhood. So close to Ingles (1 min. drive) and downtown Black Mountain (4 min. drive). We enjoyed exploring the area, we ate out and also had a full kitchen to make a few meals. The beds were all very comfortable, and we had plenty of room for the family. The kids loved the bunk room! 'This property is a true gem! Beautiful, very clean home with cute decor. We booked last minute for a one night stay and wish we could’ve stayed longer. The location is perfect! My son enjoyed the putt putt and hot tub. It was a perfect location close to town. We also enjoyed fishing in the lake right near the property! Would definitely stay again! Black mountain is such a cute town! '

'we had a wonderful stay at the red barn! the home was very clean (clean enough for a 1 year old to crawl all over the place, ha!) and comfortable. Check in was very simple, minimal check out to-do list. We were welcomed with a hand written letter, fresh flowers and some snacks! Communication with the host was quick, and clear. 'The house is beautiful and Black Mountain is lovely. We enjoyed shopping and dining in town. We especially enjoyed Pure & Proper and Che Fai food truck (don't miss this food truck). We went horseback riding, tubing and hiking. We skipped Europe this summer and do not regret it! Our hosts were excellent. '

'Pics do not do this beautiful house and property justice! It was amazing! The only complaint we have is the water pressure. We were excited to have 4 bathrooms with our large family, but unfortunately, you could only run or use one thing at a time or the water pressure went down to a trickle. Everything else exceeded expectations and we fell in love with it instantly!'
