'De aankomst van niet erg prettig maar dat heeft het hotel keurig rechtgezet. Op zaterdagavond gebeld door de receptie? of ik was en strijken besteld had, nee dus. Ik naar de receptie, niemand wist van iets. Raar, was het misschien om te kijken of ik op de kamer was en wat als ik er niet was geweest? Volgende ochtend vroeg vertrokken, ontbijt start om 7u was mij verzekerd. Nee, 0m 7u was men nog drukt bezig alles neer te zetten.
Ook het ontbijt verschilde per dag. Dat kwam, vertelde men mij,...

'This hotel was very nice. The area was prime and there were really nice markets as well as restaurants in walking distance. Derek (our butler) as well as the other staff we came in contact with were great and very accommodating. They made sure we were safe and had someone with us when we walked or went to the night market. They even walked us to restaurants at night. Poolside and the lobby areas were very comfortable. 'there were a few issues with things not working in the room, like the phone, toaster, microwave. Then the toilet wasn't flushing. i had to be moved to another room. that was inconvenient and took time from my exploration time. my room key stopped working several times and i kept having to get it reactivated. that was very annoying. otherwise it's a nice place to stay and the staff were nice. i really appreciated having a nice apartment to myself.'

'Overall, the check-in process was cumbersome, given that we had to go into the lobby, take an elevator down to the garage, go to another building, then up to the unit we booked. The check-in attendant was not forthcoming about their knowledge of the presence of cockroaches at Chateau Towers. There wasn't an iron readily available in the unit and we were in a hurry to make it to an evening obligation-- this caused a delay. This was a very inconvenient experience.'
