Perfect hotel voor heerlijk weekendje
Het hotel en de kamers zagen er nieuw uit en waren erg schoon. De locatie is perfect om de prachtige historische binnenstad te ontdekken.

Had a great stay with the family in this hotel. Nice 10 minute walk to the center. Also ping pong and table football for the kids is a nice thing there is.

Tot 24:00 livemuziek buiten is geen goed idee. Geen dagelijkse schoonmaak en handdoeken was niet vooraf gecommuniceerd. Voor ons was het matras te hard. Mooi interieur, ook op de begane grond.Goed ontbijt.

Booked thru Expedia for a family room with three beds. When I arrived, they told me I have two rooms with two double beds only. That was not what I reserved, because my teenagers cannot share a bed. They told me the transaction did not go through the first time, so they made it a two rooms to upgrade us. I told them I don’t need an upgrade, I needed a room with 3 beds. I also asked when they found out the room I booked became unavailable, they should have contacted me instead of making this arrangement. And they offered either I took the 2 double rooms or they refund me and leave. Where should I stay if I leave? That was not the solution. I asked them if they have rollaway bed. They told me they don’t. After another 15 minutes pass by that I struggled to figure out what should I do. Another agent walked up and said they have rollaway bed. Nice. Of course I need to work with my teens so the one sleeping in the rollaway bed won’t feel like we are unfair. During the stay, staff are very nice and helpful. Train station Dampoort isn’t a main station therefore will need to transfer train if heading to Bruges or Brussels. Seems like not a big deal but if missed a train, it means another 30 minutes wait. Breakfast is minimal with bread, pound cake, juices, coffee, scrambled eggs, bacon, beans, sausages, cheese, ham. But after a few days. I got tired of it. The rooms were cleaned when we got it the first day. But then I spotted some black dot like sesame seed size.

I remember your reservation and indeed, your booking sadly did not come through in our system, so we needed to be creative in order to still provide you with a place to stay. Usually, an upgrade like this does not cause many issues. I'm happy a solution was found to your liking. From Gent Dampoort, you can take a direct train to Brugge, but indeed not to Brussels. The switch of trains in Gent Sint Pieters is guaranteed, even if delayed. You can ask for more information about the train netwerk at front desk.Kind regards, Inneke - Front desk

Nice hotel, wouldn’t return.
This hotel is modern, it is split with Ibis Budget and that’s pretty much what it is. It’s comfortable enough, our room was clean but my other friends wasn’t (substantial about of hair in drain that was blocked). The thing you need to know is that the hotel is located in what can only be described as a developing area. The surrounding area is really ugly and basically looks like a building site / industrial estate.

Schönes Appartement mit einer kleinen Küche. Bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten war es sauber und alles in einem guten Zustand. Es ist zwar ziemlich hellhörig, dennoch war es meist ruhig. Insgesamt war im Hotel eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel hat eine eigene Tiefgarage (18€ pro Nacht) und ein kleines Fitnessstudio sowie Tischtennis-Platte und Tischkicker. Die direkte Umgebung des Hotels war zwar nicht sonderlich schön, aber dennoch war die Lage super. Der Bahnhof Gent Dampoort ist nur 5 Gehminuten entfernt, ideal für Ausflüge nach Brügge, Antwerpen, ans Meer,... Die Altstadt erreicht man in 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Auch ein großer Supermarkt ist ganz in der Nähe. Insgesamt ist das Hotel definitiv zu empfehlen!

The breakfast and reception service are excellent, and the location is the greatest advantage. I previously stayed at the Adagio hotel in Germany, where the cleanliness was much better. Unfortunately, the room assigned this time was dusty, with a dirty microwave oven and greasy dishes. The approach of offering lower prices and cleaning the apartment only every 8 days seems deceptive, especially considering that we don't want to pay extra for the cleaning, as it will likely not be well done.

We thought taking a risk with a 3 star hotel which we would never book but were we wrong ! The apart hotel is just super comfy and clean as the best 4 star hotels - but lower priced. Bedding, bathroom… top quality. Breakfast : continental standard - good Service : close to excellent I’d prefer not to make this review as to keep it off the radar but sharing is caring. Happy to see something refreshing like Adagio in my hometown! Xxx

Très bon séjour
Notre séjour dans cet hôtel s’est très bien passé, tout est propre, le lit est grand et confortable, aucun bruit. A disposition, une table de Ping Pong, un baby-foot, une salle de sport dans le hall. Hall très accueillant avec pleins de fauteuils et un bar pour se ravitailler. L’hôtel propose aussi un restaurant dans lequel nous avons très bien mangé . Très bien situé, il est à 20min à pieds du centre ville où bien arrêt transport en commun à 3min à pieds. Possibilité de stationner la voiture dans la rue (avec horodateur) Nous recommandons !
