'Because my confirmation said check in starts at 3PM I thought there was a front desk at the hotel. The doors were locked and there was no front desk! It turns out these are individual units owned by individuals and they are not there to greet you. I was shocked that I wasn’t aware of that.'

'Great location for scenic views but a long walk to get a drink at a pub or late night eats. However I love walking so clocked about 15 kilometers and 50 flights of stairs on my last day. The hike up the rock is intense but recommended. You can also get a van if you are old, disabled, or just lazy.'

The apartment lacked almost all basics: no dish soap, sponges, hand soap, drinking glasses, or kitchen towels. There was also no coffee maker or kettle, forcing us to boil water in a large pot just to make a hot drink. Worst of all, there wasn't a single trash can in the entire place, and one of the beds smelled strongly like...
