'This hotel missed the opportunity to do some update’s in the 1980’s, and didn’t try to catch up afterwards. Really everything in worn out. A horrible matras, big stains on the ceiling, old and dubious carpet. An airco from the roman empire that didnt work properly. The bathroom was falling apart, like literally. 'Snowed Inn is beautiful! From the moment we arrived, everyone has been so warm and welcoming! We were given a tour of the property and shown to our room. It is so beautiful! The hot tub was a fantastic way to spend the evening! The breakfast options were delicious and having our table reserved for breakfast was such a great touch! Ken even offered to write down things we should see during our trip! We are looking forward to returning to Vermont and will definitely stay at Snowed Inn!'

'Darling, charming motel with a warm vibe! Room 12 was outfitted for handicapped guests, the bathroom did have a bit of a funky odor. The second night they had a hot water issue that was not resolved by morning. Minor issues that did not negatively out stay! Staff was wonderful and communicated promptly when our room was ready for check-in, which was super easy!!!'

'I wasn't disappointed in terms of value for money; contrary to the reviews, this hotel may no longer have the luster of the old Holiday Inn, but I would honestly stay there again on my next visit to Rutland. The room was very nice, clean, with the expected little extras. The bed, bathroom, refrigerator and microwave, air conditioning, and TV were all very good. And what about the location, which is very convenient, with all amenities nearby?'

"What a gem of a place! Beautiful home and garden, right out of a Home & Garden magazine. The owners were wonderful hosts. They provided a warm welcome, like we (my daughter and I) were family. The breakfast was amazing as was the room, the house and sprawling garden. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to go there again! "
