'Gympie has always been Bogan City and it was interesting that after 20 years since my last stay, nothing has changed except for the creation of another bogan generation. Gympie is over represented in utes and pickups. The bigger the pickup, clearly in my mind is the diminished size of that persons manhood. The utes and pickups are belching, noisy, are constantly laying down rubber and it appears they must display multiple aerial's and beer decals along the sides. It also appears nobody walks...

'It was cold, dark and the rain had started to fall. We were late arriving but that was no trouble. The staff were friendly and hospitable and suggested the restaurant within the complex for our dinner. Brilliant ! Some delicious options there. The room was basic but was clean had everything we needed. A mattress topper wouldn’t go astray. Tea and coffee and bikkies appreciated ! Above all fantastic service from the team.'

'My husband stayed at the sky cabin for 3 days over the Christmas break. We loved our stay!!. Nonie and John were very helpful, responsive and approachable. They are wonderful hosts!. . We loved the views the comfort of the lodge, the lovely decor with the rustic look, the out door shower and bath!! Loved it all.. thanks a lot, we will surely come back.'

'We thoroughly Enjoyed our stay. Fantastic property... so homley, very clean and everything down to the smallest detal and has been thought out and provided. I would have to say in all of our travels this is by far one of the nicest places we have stayed. Wonderful Relaxing holiday which really gave us a chance to unwind and reconnect as a Family. 'From the letting process and arriving at the front door of the property, our experience was excellent. The letting photos do not do it justice. The home is superb and lends itself to a great weekend of entertainment for family and/or friends. We cannot recommend this property highly enough. 'So so beautiful. Sitting out on the deck overlooking the dam with ducks, fish and turtles. So relaxing and only a short drive into Gympie where we found the most incredible antique and homeware shop. Plenty of fire wood to keep the cabin warm on chilly nights. Magic place. Thank you Nina '
