'Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. 'Our stay to help celebrate a birthday party was made spectacular by staying at Ocean Oasis Hotel. The rooms were modern, beautiful and clean with excellent views of the pool and ocean. The staff was amazing with A- class service. Everyone was smiling with a reserved courteous customer service which is RARE these days. 'The rooms are beautiful! We loved the patio and the view. Gorgeous. The food on the first night was almost inedible: we sent back the mahi mahi (I think that's what it was) because it was so rock hard/overcooked that it wouldn't chew down. We then ordered the pizza: the dough was so soft and uncooked that we just ate the toppings. We then started simply eating away from the place. 'The quiet environment of Berkey's Jungle Paradise is outstanding. It was fantastic to relax in the hammock at the terrace. And the views from the accomodation is really stunning. If you like to walk many tourist facilities like the Trafalgar Falls and Wotten Waven are at relative short distance (30-40 minutes walk). Berkey is a very kind person willing to assist you at all times. So the place is higly recommended '

'Personeel was erg behulpzaam, accomodatie iets gedateerd maar word aan gewerkt. Koelkast en magnetron en een heerlijk plekje op je eigen veranda. Dicht bij de grote stad en toch het gevoel dat je in de heuvels zit'

Building certainly not high end and is old in need up updates - but it is clean and functional (as is the state of most properly on the island). Would go again :)'

'Resort was beautiful! Rooms were clean staff was friendly and helpful . Restaurant upstairs by the pool was delicious! The ONLY problem was the road to get up to the resort itself . A taxis worst nightmare . I got charged extra for every taxi I took JUST because of the road . They all informed me that all taxis forbid the road that’s how bad it is . Just a heads up if I would’ve known I wouldn’t have booked because it was stressful . Other than that great stay !'

'Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en erg betrokken. Ze checkten regelmatig bij ons in en deden er alles aan om ons thuis te laten voelen en ons te verwennen. Ze waren oprecht geïnteresseerd en er was veel persoonlijke aandacht. Naast de fantastische locatie, dicht bij vele highlights, gaf het hotel een ontspannen, lokale feel maar met absolute internationale standaard. Wij zouden het aan iedereen aan kunnen raden! '
