'The stay in the stables is poor, even for a low-budget version of the castle. The rooms are very noisy, not only noises from the guests next door (even if they do it quietly) but also from the noisy staff who start preparing breakfast at just after 6:00 am. Lots of loud talking and the radio on. The breakfast itself is good, but the breakfast location (the stable) is cold, (coincidentally?) the heating is partly defective, especially when the stable doors open on both sides because guests also...

'A very easy walk into the centre city and safe to walk at night too. Despite being on a main thoroughfare, there was no audible road noise. This is probably the cleanest accommodation I've ever stayed at. Ive stayed before and will continue to come back, hopefully in a couple of months when all the azaleas and rhododendrons are flowering in the central courtyard.'

'Stayed in a 2-bed unit and although well appointed and pleasantly decorated, we found the downstairs bedrooms to be very cold, with the wall heaters and bedding insufficient to keep you warm at night. The upstairs lounge/kitchen area definitely benefited from a heat pump. Another plus was the spacious bathroom with heated towel rack, heater and excellent shower pressure. Parking, while available and free, can be tight to manoeuvre into and out off depending on your car size and unit location.'
