'Historic hotel is well located between Katoomba and Blackheath so very easy drive to many sites. Due to age of hotel rooms a little small but functional, the decor even older was well maintained and cosy. Only cons room had to be cleaned again before we accepted it, however the management reacted well and solved the problem. Staff friendly however suggest a bit of training in customer service will work to help make this hotel even better. Overall would recommend this hotel.'

'This place is spectacular, your room is very private, extremely clean, and feels like you’re the only couple there with the amazing full view of the valley and mountains. The starlit entrance to your room is beautiful, the entertainment area is decked out to everyone’s needs, couldn’t ask for a better night away!'

'Good value for money. Whilst close to the Great Western Highway and train line didn’t really notice it. Walkable distance into Blackheath shops. Very comfortable bed. You won’t speak to any staff at all, self service and checkout through lock box.There is some basic self service breakfast if you want to eat in with cereal, juice and bread. 'This is a great hotel when working in Lithgow. Because it is joined to the club and restaurant, it is very convenient for getting a great meal after work. The room was very large and comfortable.'

'De gegevens bij jullie op de site komen niet overeen met wat het Hotel te bieden heeft. Bij het stukje alle kamers bevatten: Er was wel klimaatregeling maar geen airconditioning. Geen aparte eetruimte, geen aparte woonkamer, geen Dvd speler, en zeker geen kookplaat. Op basis van de kookplaat hadden wij deze kamer geboekt, zodat we zelf een eenvoudige maaltijd konden bereiden. De waterkoker was aan vervanging toe, het bevatte vele zwarte stukje die van het verwarmingselement afkomstig...

'Kleine, maar nette motelkamers. Probleem met inchecken - de Expedia boeking zou niet doorgekomen zijn - maar werd netjes verholpen door de eigenaar. Wifi bereik in de kamers is slecht.'

'Fijn verblijf in een fijne kamer. Het WiFi signaal was zo zwak dat we bij de wc moesten staan om verbinding te maken. Dit was een kleine irritatie op een verder prettig verblijf. Kamer 19 is blijkbaar net wat ver weg voor de WiFi. '

'Our stay was very nice. The cottage is cosy and homy. But the temperature in the bathroom was really cold. The diversity of the birds in the garden was incredible. Its a nice place for hiking in the blue mountains '
