'It was a great place for a small family gathering. It has a lovely deck and waterfront, place for campfires and grilling. The marina down the road allows a larger boat access, and small boats can be brought to the private dock. It’s located on a protected cove that has interesting islands and coves to explore by boat. Only problem was we didn’t catch any fish!'

'The host worked with us and was very accommodating. The cottage was well stocked with dishes, coffee maker, silverware, etc and the dishwasher worked great. Plenty of seating and the beds were very comfortable. The only thing missing was a tv antenna and WiFi due to some construction to the area (not the cottage). There was an extensive library of DVDs, though. For 6 guys on a fishing trip, it worked out great! It was my first time using VRBO, but not my last.'

'From the moment I booked this property, the Ms Ben was responsive. She reached out asking if I needed anything or had questions about the area/property. The home was cozy and clean. The kitchen was stocked with ample dinnerware, pots/pans, and even storage containers. During my stay, Ms Ben even helped me with directions to specific locations on the island that my GPS couldn’t find. Will definitely book again. The kids are already asking if we can come back. '

'PERFECT place to stay while in the area. Central to all the tourist sites. Bonus for me, I grew up in a small house across the lake from this cabin! It felt like I went back in time 50 years!
