'As a repeat customer at Grand Chancellor Launceston everything was as expected ,very good ,,,, when it was time for bed we were very surprised as the bed was also host to a lot of ants ,, after some time later we relocated to another room this was a big inconvenience as I am a disabled person,,,, I thought this would have at least have been a very sorry apology from the management, but did not happen ,,quite disappointed,, ( 27 may. room no 1017 ,) thank for allowing me review my experience....

'Overall might have been a lovely stay but if you are handed the keys to room 6 turn around forget your money and go elsewhere. Directly on the main road, at the top of the stairs so you join in everyones conversations. Also directly above the noisy doo that enters the building. We had to make door jams with our pizza box to stop our door shaking eberytime the downstairs door opened.'

'Unfortunately had a rough check in where one room could't be located due to the system changing the name on our booking. Otherwise the rooms were spacious and clean.'

'The room was very clean and had all we needed. The only thing missing was robes, but that’s not a deal breaker. Beautiful bathroom 😍 Bed was comfortable. The only downsides - minor - was that the room was cold when we entered. It would have been a nice touch for the room to be warm. Also, the hallway was very cold. Never had this at a hotel before. Staff were excellent and the Bluestonw Kitchen had beautiful food 😍'

'Een echte verrassing! Een in Victoriaanse stijl opgetrokken mohotel in het centrum van Launceston was een oud nonnen/leraressenverblijf van de katholieke kerk annex school, die er nog steeds is. Verbouwd tot mooie hotelkamers met hoge plafonds en een mooi balkon met uitzicht over de tuin en het centrum van Launceston. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst met goede uitleg van de mogelijkheden in de directe omgeving, shopping en eetgelegenheden. Tip: Jail House Steakrestaurant op loopafstand... wél...

'The room was clean and the bed comfortable A wall heater provided warmth. Crockery and cutlery provided with tea towel and detergent. Kettle, toaster and microwave all functional. Two face washers was a bonus '

'An interesting, historic property with amazing views over the city. Everything one needs, but the upstairs rooms are more suited to the younger or able bodied. Hard to get parts of the room warm. Need to supply a map and information about parking. One can park along Law Street, once you negotiate the one way streets and find the backway into it, which isn't easy in dark, even with GPS.'

'The Florance was a great place to stay from every perspective. Room was excellent well fitted out and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The location is great over the road from the Botanical Gardens and on the edge of the city. If you are an AFL fan down for the footy (as I was) the location is only a 10-15 minute stroll to the ground. Pub over the road was good for a meal. Will definitely return.'
