'The check-in process after hours needs to be improved. We were locked out and the after hours wall phone in between the two automatic doors was dead. All of the light switches gave substantial electric shocks to my wife and I. Overall the unit is showing every part of its 50+ year age, including the bedroom doorknob that came off while attempting to use the bathroom in the middle of the night (along with most towel rails etc loose). Bedroom fan very noisey, keeping us up through the night....

'Amazing stay. We loved every day of our stay at Mantra in Coolangatta. The views are fantastic and the unit was very clean, spacious and very well equipped. The bathroom was spacious and clean with a washing machine and dryer. Very close to all shops, restaurants, entertainment. Parking was easy. Bed was very clean and very comfortable. We are really looking forward to staying here again.'

'Room didn't seem clean despite the smell of floor cleaner. Ants, live and dead, kept dropping on the bed from a non-working light socket above the bed. Had to move the bed to other part of the room to allow us to sleep. Resort was noisy, with a group in the picnic area below our room. For all these issues, we could not report any of these due to very limited hours over the weekend that the reception was open.'
