'This was our accommodation for the third day of our third trip to Iceland. Everything was exactly as described—if anything, it was even better than expected. We could truly feel how much care and attention the owner had put into creating this place. The view was wonderful, parking was convenient, and the accommodation was warm and comfortable. The only thing we were disappointed about was not having the chance to meet the dogs. :)'

'Unresponsive host. Has to reach out to Expedia so we can get an access code to enter the property. The key are in a lockbox and make sure you will get the lockbox code prior to coming to the property. The house is okay to spend a night. WiFi is good.'

'I cannot recommend this property enough! We visited for 8 days in late June/early July 2026, and the view from the wrap-around glass patio was breathtaking every single day, morning and evening. Because of the shape of the valley, we would routinely see completely different weather patterns West, North, and East. Maybe it was snowing on the mountain across the lake, raining at the property, and sunny out West... all at the same time!It's only a 25-30min drive West to Akranes to pick up groceries...
