Het Grand Chalet Grizzli biedt een verfijnde, eigentijdse stijl aan de bergen. Gelegen in de Dogtooth Estates, laat dit op maat ontworpen, met vermaak vervulde huis uw toevluchtsoord zijn bij Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Gloednieuw en volledig uitgerust, deze prachtige chalet beschikt over 6 slaapkamers met elk een eigen badkamer om comfortabel te slapen 14 gasten. Er zijn drie woongebieden; de eerste met een aangepaste fir pooltafel; de tweede, een mediaruimte met een flatscreen-tv; en de derde met een 2-zijdige houtgestookte open haard.

Elke woonruimte is ingericht met extra grote banken en stoelen, unieke hedendaagse kunstwerken en afgewerkt met gordijnen en kussens in aardse hews die comfort en warmte toevoegen. Andere functies zijn onder meer; geothermische hydronic stralingswarmte opwarming van de leisteen vloeren, het huis en uw voeten; gebeitste betonnen aanrechtbladen, toptoestellen, grote eettafel, bubbelbad met waterval, toegang via de achterdeur tot de langlaufloipes en grote ramen die openen naar een prachtig uitzicht op de met sneeuw bedekte toppen. Grand Chalet Grizzli ligt aan een privé-eind veel met bomen en is ski-in en op slechts enkele meters afstand naar de ski-out en alle andere Resort Voorzieningen. Family wedding in Golden

Our family rented this beautiful home for a family wedding in Golden. We LOVED the house and found that everything was just as listed. It was definitely a little distance from town but worth the drive and views. Everyone had plenty of space. Also loved the fact that even with everyone visiting inside the kitchen people could still sleep without noise upstairs. The only downfall I found was no A/C in the house. It did cool down ok, but if closing the curtains airflow wasn’t great upstairs. Mosquitoes love this area as well so just take lots of bug spray! Would definitely stay again!

The nicest VRBO we have ever stayed at.

The house was well decorated and designed. It had many condiments and every dish, pot and pan you could ever need. Absolutely the cleanest VRBO rental we have been in. The beds were very comfortable. Perfect location and very quiet. Nice trail access right behind the house.

Good location, lots of room, private bathrooms, nicely stocked kitchen.

Here for a week before going to Banff. This is a very nice house, well maintained with so much room. Family room easily accommodated 12, kitchen is well stocked for large meal prep, TV room is infront away from the noise of kitchen, dining room, and game room. The only negative is the internet is very poor and cell reception doesn’t work with a hotspot. Some houses on the street are better than the Telus DSL here. It doesn’t support video conferencing.

A group of friends with kids, very roomie. Every bedroom has an en suite bathroom. Lots of room to spread out kitchen is excellently stocked and they leave condiments and spices there for you to use . place is very comfortable. Not too fancy.

Wonderful extended family holiday.

We choose this property for a Christmas / New Year's holiday for our extended family of 13 coming from different parts of Canada and Europe. It was our perfect size for our group and just a 5 minute drive (or walkable) to both the ski hill and the Nordic center. Gabriel is also a very responsive host and all instructions were clear and confirmed. The house has plenty of space for all activites, and the pool table and hot tub were well utilized by our family. We definitely would recommend.

Winter Family Ski Trip

Our family of 9 loved staying together at The Grand Chalet Grizzli. It is grand indeed! Large spacious and beautiful, each couple had their own king sized bed with luxury linens and an attached bathroom. Each bedroom has it own thermostat for custom temperature control. We enjoyed cooking together in the huge and well equipped kitchen, then sharing a meal at the family table — everyone telling stories of their mountain adventures from the day.The spectacular wood burning fireplace was a special bonus and the supply of wood generous. The hot tub was the favourite spot to be after a day on the slopes and Nordic trails.Spotlessly clean!Book The Grizzli for your next family holiday. You won’t regret it!Can’t wait to be back

Cozy Thanksgiving weekend.

Good stay in Golden

My large family group loved our stay in this home. Each bedroom has an adjoining bathroom which was a real treat after staying in smaller accomodations for the beginning of our trip. The house is spacious and well taken care of for the most part. The house is a bit out of the way of actual downtown Golden, but we enjoyed the drive up the mountain each day coming back. Only complaint is that many of the bathroom windows did not have curtains and so when showering it felt that the neighbors could look in on us. Curtains in the rooms did not always work or were jammed when we got there. The host had good communication wjth our family and answered al pur questions. We definitely would want to stay again!

This is a beautiful upscale home. Every room is spacious and luxurious. Every bedroom is an en-suite, the kitchen has everything you need, and there are several living areas to spread out in. The location is quiet and convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic property!

We stayed in this house as part of a little golf trip, and absolutely loved it! The kitchen is well stocked and the appliances are very easy to use. Beds were very comfy and each room having it's own bathroom was perfect! We loved the pool table and quite enjoyed the hot tub after a few rounds of golf. Only comment would be that we wished there was more than 1 TV in the house. Maybe one in the pool room or by the fire place. Regardless we absolutely loved our stay and Gabriel was fantastic to work with. Very responsive, coordinated and ready to help if needed. Check-in and out was a breeze. Looking forward to next year! Thanks again!

Great Ski Trip

We had a great time staying here. The house is in a great location, just a short walk to ski to the lifts and an easy ski home. The house is large with a great kitchen. There was more than enough space for our group. We will definitely book here again if/when we come back to KHMR.

Excellent Accommodation For Large Groups

Couldn’t have asked for a better place for our group of 12. Sleeping arrangements can be made up in Kings or Singles. Great for all types of groups. The kitchen is well stocked. Plenty of seating in common areas for your entire group. Pool table is a nice touch to pass time. Large hot tub on covered patio. Gabriel is very communicative for all your needs throughout your stay. Will definitely be back!!
