'Midden in het centrum, maar toch makkelijk parkeren in de garage vlakbij. De kamer is vrij klein, maar wel comfortabel. Het ontbijt is prima en het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Er was 's nachts wel wat rumoer op straat, maar dat valt te verwachten in een drukke straat.'

'The modern rooms are short walk to town center, we had parked just outside the property and walked everywhere, there is plenty of information in the room about places to visit, eat and drink. Also we were given chips to exchange in a number of cafes nearby for breakfast (coffee and croissant), as it was included in the stay. Very happy with the room, would recommend it.'

'It is an old convent, still partially in use? Right on the water, awesome, rustic for sure. Dont expect hotel chain experience, this stay is about the awesome staff, great locationnand quiet , clean place. Very unique.'

'Een fantastisch hotel, heel erg netjes met ontzettend vriendelijk personeel. Nu over het ontbijt, gewoon geweldig. Elke dag iets anders erbij verzorgd door een geweldige vrouw die ook zelfs bakt voor de gasten. '

'My family and I (husband and teen daughter) had a fantastic stay in June. We were given such warm and welcoming hospitality. Highly recommend Villa II Barone and the beautiful town of Tropea. It was our favourite place in Italy. '

'Het hotel was in een super goeie staat, schoon en goed gelegen. Je bent in 5 minuutjes lopen bij het prachtige strand van Tropea en als je de deur uit stapt loop je recht op allerlei leuke italiaanse restaurantjes! Het personeel is super gastvrij en behulpzaam! Ontbijten doe je op een dakterras met een uitzicht waar je u tegen zegt! Super vakantie gehad en zou het iedereen aanraden!'

'Non consiglio a nessuno di passare le vacanze presso questa struttura, io sono scappata per trovare urgentemente un altro b e b perché privi di acqua per servizi igienici, hanno una cisterna piccola per 3 b e b e il motorino mal funzionante. Dopo 2 giorni di gabinetto sporco oltre il ciclo.mestruale e neanche un goccio di acqua ho dovuto pagare per 4 volte un altro b e b visto l.urgenza'

'The language barrier was definitely an issue. We were greeted in the street by the off-site host who was upset that we were planning to check out early even though we said we were paying for the extra night and despite the fact that we had emailed June 22nd that we had to shorten our stay. This is not a typical B & B. It consists of 4 rooms and a shared kitchenette on the same floor as 2 private apartments in a multi-story building above the pedestrian area. No blow dryer or iron is provided....
