'The $60 pet fee for one night stay with my dog was outrageous,I also did not receive any $20 parking credit on my bill as advertised, this takes a reasonably priced very nice hotel on a Thursday to another level adding another $100 on to the total price.
a pet fee is fine but $60 is more than I have ever paid,with no pet it would have been reasonable.'

'The best thing about our stay for our family of 6 was that we had a room with a king bed and two queen beds at a reasonable price. (Hard to find usually (our kids were excited that no one had to sleep on a pull-out couch!
The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was decent (better coffee than most hotels). The shower was just average - not a lot of pressure and the bedding could have been better but would definitely stay again as we had a nice stay.'

'This was an amazing g property. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and the combined shower/tub wet room was wonderful. The property is well manicured and gardens beautiful. It was the most peaceful place we have stayed all the way from California to Vancouver BC. It’s close enough to tour Portland but escape the crowds. Well recommended.'

'I had a business meeting at the nearby hospital, so stayed for 2 nights. Inexpensive. Room size small, but fine for solo traveller. Good AC. Good food and drink downstairs. Staff were friendly and didn’t mind that I nursed a beer while doing some computer chores. Was able to work comfortably at both in-bar and patio tables. No breakfast service here, but good bagels are just up the block.'

'Quirky resort. Lots of artsy stuff. But I paid $275 for one night. That didn’t include a bathroom, TV, or phone. Building is very old and historic but not well maintained and the community bathrooms smelled. Not for me.'

'Staff was rude. Front desk clerk was not helpful and when trying to check in car was told clerk was sick and wanted to go home and hopefully you can find a spot. We prepaid. Tried to check in hotel key with no front desk clerk. Went downstairs and found a lady making breakfast and I politely asked if I could give her the key she acted as if I was a problem and told me she had to make breakfast in an angry voice. I usually don't give bad reviews but the customer service was absolutely horrible.'

'Overall, we had a good stay. The room itself was clean, and the air conditioning worked extremely well, which was appreciated. It was noticeable that some wall patchwork had recently been done in the room, but it didn't affect our stay.
The biggest issue was the overall cleanliness of the property outside the room. There was quite a bit of dust and several cobwebs throughout the property that could use some attention.
The staff member on duty deserves recognition. They were incredibly friendly...
