The house is very pretty, easy to get to, and has access to insta-cart and restaurants close by (I say this only because there are parts of Lake Anna that have nothing close by). 'The unit is well located and was clean and looked as listed in the review. Our only concern was that the HVAC system was very loud at night. It wasn’t a sound that was all night long, but more at every hour or two intervals. Other than that we would stay at the unit again!'

'Great location in Orange County Va farm land very close to many attractions and with in reach to Charlottesville for a day trip via country road route 20 ( no traffic lights). The cottage is an outbuilding on the Bloomingdale Farm property that is surround by working farms. The view from the porch is peaceful and relaxing with the Blue Ridge off in the distance. 'Plenty of space, accurate listing. Be sure to read the portion around 3 of the bedrooms with breezeway entry if you have small kids. Great views and easy communication! When we stayed there was construction on both sides (the only downfall of trip)- otherwise, fantastic spot, great fishing and would return!'

'A group of us gathered for a bit of a staycation from the Richmond area. We had a ladies night on Friday and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better location!! Saturday we had some other friends join us for food on the water and it was the most relaxing setting for us to reset and connect. 'Very pretty Property. Comfortable, Welcoming, and spacious. The beds and pillows very comfy and nice. Beautiful views. Kitchen has everything needed. We loved the fire place and fire pit. One tip would be to have more information about how the all TV's work - Instructions on starting the gas fire place, fixing the ice machine, and the one burner on the stove would be a plus and having all light fixtures working upon arrival. 'We spent a wonderful weekend away at Ken’s lake house. We booked this just a week in advance so we could get away for Mothers Day weekend. The house was possibly the cleanest place that we’ve rented. We didn’t see any bugs or dog hair inside, even though it’s dog friendly and on the lake.
