'Thank you for a wonderful peaceful stay. The staff were great! Everyone from the front desk, breakfast and housekeeping. I loved the balcony view of the Makong River! Very relaxing to watch the boats on the river. '

'Für uns das enttäuschende Hotel unserer 3 Wochen Reise in Thailand. Teurer als alles vergleichbare und in vielen Punkten deutlich hinter unseren Service Erwartungen. 1. Wir versuchten wenige Minuten nach der Buchung ein Storno, weil wir sahen, dass es 1:15 von chiang rai entfernt ist und sich lediglich in der region Chiang Rai befindet. Das Hotel hat den Storno verweigert. Ist ihr gutes Recht, daher auch nur erwähnt, damit andere den Fehler nicht machen. Geht nicht in meine Bewertung ein. 2....

'Considering the low price, Phet Ngam Hotel was a good pick. Staff is very friendly, and even though they didn't speak English, we didn't have a problem with checking in or out. Nice beds, WiFi, aircon and a western bathroom. '

'Beautiful gardens, lovely hotel, great view. Really.. It's called Gin's Meakong View for a reason. We stayed 4 nights in one of the love huts, rented scooters from the hotel and explored. Chilled out in the pool for a while after. Ate some good food either at the hotel or at one of the stalls along the river (15min walk). Loved Chiang Saen and it's surroundings. Loved it!!'

'This is a budget hotel - so don`t expect anything more. It is good value for money and in a location about 10 - 15 minutes walk from Chiang Saen centre. There are no cafes close to the hotel so be prepared to walk or take a ride to the centre of Chiang Saen. The staff are friendly and helpful.'
