Lhbtq-vriendelijke hotels in Governador Island

'- ontzettend prijzig hotel (betaalden € 250/nacht voor kamer met ontbijt). Resortfees, extra charges,... komen er nog bij - omdat we er 8 nachten verbleven, kregen we enkele kortingen die ze meedeelden, maar op de rekening waren deze niet te vinden. Even aangehaald dus - enkele keren amenities vergeten aanvullen op de kamer - prachtige uitstraling van gebouw en kamers, maar nooit ruiten/spiegels zonder vettige vingers gezien (beneden in de lobby, in onze kamer,...). 'Technical state of the accommodation is below standard. Showers flushing over into the room, room doors not closing when you leave and lock of the toilet defective. But worst of the worst: they don’t care. My clothing got all wet at the day of departure. All I found was a rude receptionist (Juliana) and a hotel manager that prioritized his/her lunch above speaking to me. NEVER AGAIN!'

'This hotel is perfectly situated: it’s almost at the half of Leme/Copacabana and because of it walking to Ipanema and the surrouding area is close as well. Also, a lot of shops, restaurants etc are close as well and you just have to cross the street to head to the beach. Also, for both cars, taxis and ubers it’s really easy to park as well. 'The hotel is just a block away from the metro and and a couple of blocks from the beach. There's heaps of food options nearby and it's easier to get anywhere in the city from it. Staff was a joy, rooms are standard Ibis rooms which are consistently good anywhere in the world. I would definitely recommend to stay at the hotel if you are coming to Rio. '

'This was a really wonderful property. Truly special and it’s a shame we were only there for one night. We were the only people staying on the entire premises the night we spent there which provided a unique experience, especially when it came time for breakfast. The staff/owners were all very kind and helpful. No complaints at all and would stay again.'
