'I hosted a group of ~a dozen of us for my husband’s birthday. The staff were amazingly welcoming and hospitable. We were picked up from the ferry in golf carts, whisked off to our tents and then enjoyed drinks on the deck - taking in the views of the Statue of Liberty and downtown. We hosted dinner at Three Peaks and everyone raved about the meal. The steak was top notch. We closed the night out around the campfire under the stars. Couldn’t have been better a better time and so worth it. '

'The Four Seasons Downtown made our visit so incredibly special. Even before we checked in, the service was impeccable: Vash ran out to Bloomingdales to pick up some dresses I ordered for a funeral and they ordered us a car from the airport.

But then we arrived on Friday night and the 7th Floor terrace was right next to our bedroom and Some tennants were having a small get together on the terrace. And they were allowed to be there until 12. So something to consider when you give a room preference. Nothing against the building itself. Generally: would book again and would recommend!'
'Loved the aesthetics, the attention and elegance in every detail. Wonderful team, always present and helpful with a smile. Sophisticated rooms & bathrooms with quality brands essentials. We enjoyed every restaurant and mostly the beautiful terrace and view. The only disadvantage was the larking at 120$ per 24h with 120$ everytime we need the take the car when it’s unlimited access in other luxurious hotels we’ve been. We were lucky though to find free parking right there for 3 days. '

'In a world where you can buy anything you want, this hotel just makes me happy. It's old style feel like your back in time. The slow elevator doesn't matter because they just have a few floors and a few rooms.
The team is always nice and even that breakfast is small, it's everything I need.

"Fijn hotel op top locatie. Dichtbij metro, 9/11 memorial, Battery park, Brooklyn Bridge. Allemaal op loopafstand. Dagelijkse schoonmaak, schone hanndoeken en gratis flesjes water (kan ook anders in NY 😃) We hadden een kamer op hoge verdieping (24e) en dan hoor je niets van het lawaai van stad en verkeer. Hele goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding! Enige minpuntje zijn de smalle Queensize bedden. De kamer is groot genoeg voor 3/4 personen, alleen de bedden echt te smal. "

"Drie nachten verbleven in Sonder. Mooi appartement maar dit is geen hotel! Het is een appartementencomplex en daarom zijn er ook geen voorzieningen zoals bar, restaurant, schoonmaak etc. Dat viel ons een beetje tegen omdat je voor alles de deur uit moet. Er is een zwembadje maar ook daar zijn geen voorzieningen dus da’s een beetje saai. Het appartement is wel van alle gemakken voorzien, zoals volledig ingerichte keuken, was-en droogcombinatie.
Buiten wordt wel op heel veel plekken geblowd, dus je moet wel tegen de wietlucht kunnen als je New York bezoekt. Wij vonden dat niet zo geweldig. We zijn al vaak in NY geweest maar het is nu wel heel erg geworden. "
