'Just getting to Freeport is a pain, NJ to MIA then to Freeport. Only a one hour layover on the way there (5hrs 43mins to get there). Getting back to NJ not so good. The return flights are terrible Left Freeport at 1:50 arrived in MIA at 2:40, Had a 5 hour layover in MIA to get back to NJ. (9hrs 6 mins) plus a one hour delay Go to Nassau, bigger airport so you can get a direct flight there. The property itself was not very clean, the rooms were very outdated and dirty. 'I should have known my experience would be bad, when it took 2.5 hours to get my food from the restaurant at the resort. The facilities were outdated and many of the appliances were rusted. The weight room was small with equipment not maintained. One treadmill had a broken screen and the other had a loose belt. Requests were treated as an inconvenience. 'This Beach House was the perfect place for our group of friends and family. Being right on the water, we swam, snorkeled, kayaked and fished every day. The sunrises and sunsets were amazing. We started our day on the front porch watching the sunrise and ended each day on the porch as the sun was going down.
