'It was perfect for what we needed it for! Being off the main drag was not a favorite aspect but it really didn’t matter since we only spent mornings & evenings in the house. It was very clean & perfectly stocked. LOVED that there were coffee pot options as I’m am not a fan of Keurigs. Wish there were window coverings for the doors but again not a dealbreaker. 'This is a nice little place in a quiet area of Dixon, easy to get to off of the main route. It was a great central location for us to stay while we visited family in the area.The two rooms downstairs worked out well for two of the guests that couldn't do stairs well and my son and I shared a room upstairs.Brought back many memories of going to my grandparents' farm. 'Communication with the property manager was excellent, we always had quick replies every time. The property is located in Byron opposite the river which was lovely. There are pathways for biking and running which were great for my husband and friend who were competing in the Rockford half Ironman. The house was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. 'Fabulous cabin on the river! Awesome nature views and sunsets were amazing. Whole front of house including the master bedroom is all windows for breathtaking views. Relaxing, peaceful, hot dogs and s'mores by the campfire along the lake....can't beat it!'
