'Grand Haven is my 2nd home and Captain's Cottage is my 2nd home. I have stayed here many times and it's always perfect. So clean (without the toxic clean smell), very comfortable and a perfect location to downtown and the lake.'

'The cottage was very cozy. Really appreciated the # of beds. It was nice having 2.5 bathrooms as well. The kitchen appliances and washer and dryer were very modern. Internet speed could be faster given entertainment requires streaming but aside from that it was a very pleasant stay.'

'We had an absolutely wonderful time staying on this beautiful property. The host was quick to answer my silly questions, and the house is just so quaint and homie. The only downside was the tv was in the upper bedroom area and we enjoyed playing games around the table but wanted to watch the basketball games as well! 'Lovely, immaculate 1queen bed, 1bath with large shower in main floor condo. Very Close to downtown-just 2 blocks to most restaurants, boardwalk, & shopping. Keurig with good coffee & hot water pot for tea. Basic supplies provided, soap, shampoo, tp, paper towels , dishwasher soap, salt& pepper. hair dryer. 'the pictures really tell the story - the outdoor areas, the veranda, the rooms, the decor -- just a really neat fun getaway, right where Lake Mac and Lake Mich meet - what more could anyone ask for! The only negative is being sad to leave and wishing you could stay a little longer!'

'Easy check in. Cottage was very clean and charming, plenty of room for our family. Love how close it is to so many attractions! The house is full of amenities, almost everything you could think of. The backyard is amazing! We would definitely stay here again!'

'Quaint beach cottage with lots of character, great location, fully stocked with amenities. Unfortunately we had a maintenance issue our first night but they were immediately responsive and took care of it. A previous reviewer mentioned trouble with the oven not baking. We baked a birthday cake during our stay and it worked perfectly. So this issue has been resolved.'

'Lovely trip, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We spent most of our weekend at the house playing games, cooking dinner, watching movies, with a day trip to see the tulips. The three rooms plus basement bunkbeds would be perfect for 2 families or a small group of friends and the house had everything we needed. You can hear others between floors so if you have light sleepers or folks with different bedtimes it might be worth it to rent the carriage house for extra privacy but we were fine! Easy walk...
