'A wonderful relaxing experience in a beautiful coastal setting. Our host Maureen was exceptional and couldn’t have done more to make our stay special. The boathouse itself is outfitted with local art and artifacts, and has been lovingly renovated. Truly one of the best VRBO vacations that we have experienced.'

'While my love affair with Campobello Island started with an overnight camping trip to Herring Cove Provincial park, this property sealed the deal. This is my second stay at the Starfish and it is heaven on earth. Nothing compares to the wildlife encounters I’ve had at the scenic overlook. It’s clear how much Dennis cares about the island and I will continue to stay at his amazing cottages as long as he continues to offer them for others to enjoy. '

'We were blessed to snap up a last minute cancelation at Whale of a View cottage. It was our first time staying on Campobello and we were not disappointed. 'If you want peace and quiet, along with an over the top spectacular view, this is the perfect place! So enjoyable to sit back and watch the tide move in and out, observe eagles and gulls and keep an eye out for porpoises, whales, and otters. The cottage is comfortable, and full of interesting collectables, art and books about the region. Dennis was a fantastic host - very helpful and responsive to any question or need. It was such an enjoyable stay - I can't wait to get back!'

'We’ve stayed at this lovely property two years in a row and plan to visit again in the future. The host is so lovely and helpful, but is not at all intrusive. The view of the ocean is wonderful and it is fun to watch the boats going to and from the harbor. There is a family of eagles that make regular appearances. 'The check in was so easy and the place was amazing. I went with my 2 grandchildren ages 5 and 8, we all loved the cottage and view of the ocean.
