'The hotel is easily reached by bus from either Derby or Nottingham. However, if you plan to do a lot of sightseeing in the area, it's probably best to have your own car. In spite of its proximity to M1, the hotel is set in a quiet and pleasant location. Most of the staff was very kind and helpful: one of them was on the same bus as us when we arrived, and kindly walked us from the bus stop to the hotel. 'We hebben verschillende hotels geprobeerd maar komen toch steeds hier weer terug. Het hotel ligt voor ons zeer centraal en makkelijk langs de M1, de service en vriendelijkheid is optimaal, het ontbijt geweldig en mocht er toch iets niet goed zijn wordt het meteen verholpen.'

'What a lovely comfortable stay. Nice beds , pillows and duvet and in a beautiful house. Tea and coffee and a bottle of water on arrival. Could have had breakfast but didn't. There's a pub down the road. Will definitely stay again and go for walks around the area'
