'If you’re looking for peace and quiet you found it. I sat out on the porch and just looked at the pond. Turned off the cell relaxed and enjoyed the view. The host was very accommodating. The home look just like the pictures and when I arrived the air conditioning was going which was great when your from California and not used to the hot sticky summers in Southern Illinois.'

'Another great trip to PJ’s Palace! We stayed almost a week, loved how close it is to Mermet Springs for diving, and it’s SO SO nice! Having the laundry onsite (as opposed to no laundry if we’d stayed at a hotel) was GREAT for our wet dive stuff :)Spacious great room gave us plenty of room to socialize in the evenings, and the hosts respond so fast! We appreciate you guys and can’t wait to come back next year!'

'San Damiano was a very nice retreat. We could tell the staff does everything possible to be responsive and ensure a good stay. The room was very clean, comfortable beds and pillows and just the right size. The fridge, microwave and stove are all new and we had all the utensils we needed. Good fireplace. The back area is very scenic. But be CAREFUL. Remember the back is a cliff. Our dog leaped off the cliff chasing a squirrel and plummeted about 200 feet. He's alive but in bad shape. The...

'Not as clean as it should be. Had to call for extra washcloths, only one handtowel for six days. Cobweb in the corner, by the kitchen sink and bathroom. TV about to fall off of wall, we had to tighten it up. The rug in the bedroom area, really needs to be tossed or cleaned, you can smell it while sitting in the kitchen chair. Someone left a bag out on the back porch around the leg of a chair. It is such a cute place, but, needs some tender loving care.'
