'Sophia communicated well and provided recommendations ahead of time, inside the home, and verbally when we saw her during our stay. She was quick to resolve very minor issues (we are very understanding when something unexpected happens, it’s all about how it’s managed). 'Mom and I started our trip here for our Mother’s Day getaway. Beautiful views and water from the beach or restaurant/bar next door. We were in one of the upper apartments. No view of the beach or water due to the mature palm trees. Apartment is basic - minimal accommodations (like wash any dishes & fill the coffee pot from small bathroom sink) for those looking for a great value and basic accommodations. 'Right on the beach in a quiet part of the island. It's a family-run resort, and Betty, Margaret, and Amos made us feel welcome and at home. You can snorkel and kayak right off the beach. If you, like me and my wife, are happy to accept rustic facilities in exchange for a great price, a fantastic location, and a quiet friendly family-run atmosphere, this is the place for you. We had a rental car, and I highly recommend that for a stay of longer than a few days.'

'This place is a beautiful family owned property and it shows. They were so accomidating wether it was helping with rides for food or setting up boat trips. It was the perfect spot to relax and explore the north end. We had the best time. '

'When we arrived at the property on a Wednesday, there wasn’t anybody else there. We did not “check in” as there wasn’t anyone on site. The door was unlocked and key on table. No problem. We actually loved the seclusion. We were very happy with overall time there. Definitely renting a car next time as it’s far from everything. 'Another amazing stay at Canuck Palms. This home has everything you need, beach toys, snorkel equipment, beach bags, towels, rolling cooler. A nice back deck to grill and relax on the lounge chairs in the evening after a day at the beach. Heather responded my messages promptly, which I loved. 'It’s a beautiful nature - turquoise clear waters and beautiful views. Our villa fit our needs - it was clean, quiet, safe, with a beautiful view of the sea and the nearby islands. There was unfinished construction around that could be unsafe for little unsupervised kids, but it didn’t bother us.
