'This b&b is situated in a very cool area...The park across the street is great for a walk, or pickleball, tennis etc. The restaurants nearby are fantastic- no need to drive anywhere, really. Check out the Venice Cafe (actually a bar) for sheer funkiness..Dan, the friendly and garrulous host, provided sumptuous breakfasts and many helpful suggestions. We'll be back!'

'Glad we discovered this gem. It was our first time at this classy inn in what appears to be a leafy uptown neighborhood within easy walking distance to a hip downtown area. Friendly co-owner, beds were comfy and the delicious breakfast was more than we could finish. 'The hosts were great. The coffee was waiting for me at 6 am. The breakfast was delicious! I called it biscuits and gravy but it was more like french tost lol we had some great laughs. I will plan another trip here in the future. Downtown Galena is really neat. We checked out some hiking trails and had a blast. '
