'Beautiful cabin that has a winter cozy feeling the second you walk up to the cabin. My only issue which isn’t even an issue was there was a chill in the cabin near the kitchen and bathroom due to being older, again not an issue just something to consider when booking. Loved the location about 10 minutes from town but yet in the middle of nowhere. 10/10 place and would stay again'

'My partner and I had a perfect mini getaway at The Blue Heron cabin this past weekend. I would absolutely recommend this A-frame and already have! The cabin is remotely located on a very large piece of property that contains two other A-frames. This cabin in particular sits off to the side and is probably the most private of the three, although they are all very private. 'Out of half a dozen or so cabin rentals, this one is the absolute best. It's clean, uncluttered, quiet, and huge! Water was hot, heater worked really well (it was a very cold week) and the kitchen worked well. Beds were comfy too. I can't say enough good things about this place!'

'View from the cabin was indeed exquisite!! A very comfy quiet and private cabin for us and our baby. Well equipped and cozy rooms, kitchen, bathrooms. Fabulous hot tub! 15 minutes to Giant City State Park. We recommend Giant City Nature Trail & Rocky Bluff Trail easy and beautiful. '
