'Only stayed 2 nights for the air show so the location was the key factor as majority of other hotels nearer to the event were fully booked. We have stayed in this hotel for the air show on numerous occasions, but unfortunately on this occasion we found the hotel to be a little bit tired in its décor and overall appearance. we can't comment on anything else as we didn't have anything else other than a good couple of nights sleep.'

'Lovely reception as we were running late due to the RIAT event. We called ahead to let them know we were en route & that we may be a few minutes late for our meal time in the restaurant, but the team were so welcome & confirmed it was fine. '

'We chose this hotel both as a stop off break on our way to Cornwall and a place where we could meet up with friends we had not seen for a year.
We were pleasantly surprised by both the welcome and the hotel itself. Whilst Stroud itself is a bit of a mix this hotel is, in my opinion, the jewel in the crown. The refurbishment is top notch. The decor is very stylish and tasteful, up to date in every way.

'We hadden een hele kleine kamer aan de achterkant in een bijgebouw. Geen WiFi bereik. TV deed het niet doordat de afstandsbediening ontbrak. Hebben we gemeld, maar er was niets aan te doen. Kregen hiervoor ook geen compensatie. Geen tafeltje om iets op te leggen. Slechts 1 nachtkastje dat vol stond met waterkoker, kopjes, enz. Slechts 1 kleine fauteuil. Amper ruimte om je koffers neer te zetten. Bed was niet comfortabel. Veel te duur voor wat werd geboden.

"Prachtige omgeving en heerlijk bed. Personeel werkt had en doet zijn/haar best. Het is alleen gewoon géén 5* hotel. Restaurant zeer teleurstellend (steak rauw, tafels worden niet goed schoongemaakt. service door onervaren krachten). Kamer was prima, maar douche te krap, honden gadgets vergeten (na telefoontje wel snel hersteld) en sauna bleek alleen na 10 am- tot 5pm toegankelijk én tegen extra meerprijs/ zeer klant onvriendelijk. Zoveel potentie en zo weinig waargemaakt. Gemiste kans helaas "

Onze hond mag niet in het restaurant, maar we konden ontbijten en dineren in de lounge. Het ontbijt en het restaurant zijn van prima kwaliteit. Aan de wifi bereikbaarheid werd hart gewerkt terwijl wij er waren 😊."
