'We have stayed at the Historic Cary House for many years while visiting wine country near Placerville. It is very convenient and walkable to Main Street restaurants and to regional wineries. The hotel is clean and quiet. The front desk manager is very helpful.'

However there were quite a few things going on in Sacramento that night so there was a bit of a scary crowd in Old Town that made me a bit nervous I would not say that it was unsafe because it was cops everywhere but it was a little shady. 'We were staying with you for the first time celebrating my mom's 79th birthday. I requested an early check in which was accommodated and appreciated. After a long drive for an older person, being able to go up to the room at 1:30 was so helpful. Also the valet charged my car Saturday night so I did not have to get up early to find a charging station. This allowed me to sleep easier. '
