'This is the former Conde Naste headquarters so the property is very stylish and impressive. It’s a huge hotel with a recent remodel so there are conferences on the weekdays and weddings on the weekends. I was there on a Monday, so it was quiet, perfect for a good nights sleep. Rooms are spacious, clean and well lit. I liked the quality of the shampoo etc. Some rooms face the interior atrium which I would probably not be comfortable in since there could be noise from the bar area.'

'When we arrived, the room had not been properly cleaned. We spoke with the housekeeping staff, who cleaned the room very quickly, but unfortunately it was still not properly clean afterward. I raised the issue with the housekeeper, and she seemed unhappy about the complaint and began speaking in Spanish, apparently assuming that I would not understand. Proper bathroom cleaning is essential. The toilet was dirty, which is unacceptable and reflects a lack of attention to hygiene standards....

'When we chrcked in the lady at the counter was not very friendly and helpful. We had to pay a deposit, but my creditcard did not work. She told me 2 times that it did not work, but did not help me at all. And every time we passed her in the next days and greeted her, she didn't say anything back. Luckily the other people were friendly and helpful. The room and the bed were great. It was a pity that the windows could not be opened, I like to sleep with te windows open. '

'We were attend a conference and I must say that the staff was friend and accommodating. The food was good and the hotel conference rooms were comfortable considering that we had a very large group. The hotel did well in accommodating us. I was disappointed that the spa was out of service at the time of our vist but overall it was good.'

'I asked the desk clerk (a middle-aged male) who checked me in for an extra blanket. (It was chilly on my check-in.) As best as I could understand, he told me that there was already one on my bed and that was all I was entitled to. Later as it got colder I asked the desk clerk (by this time a 20s-something woman) for a blanket.
