'Our stay at this property was excellent, start to finish. Priced right for the location and the amenities, the place was everything as described. Comfortable bedding, flexible sleeping arrangements (3 bedrooms) and well equipped. Communication with the manager/owner was easy and quick. Highly recommend this property for a no frills experience. About an hour drive to Sunday River resort where we skied.'

'The property was better than advertised. Brand new and perfectly efficiently layed out for a family of 4. Kids loved sleeping in the loft and had their choice of beds. The house was immaculate and the linens were comfortable like home. We have a wonderful time at the house and skiing Sunday River which was a pleasant drive and easy to get to. 'We had a fantastic stay at the Riverfront Farmhouse. The design & interiors of this vacation home are well thought out...pleasing, intuitive & well appointed. The sighting of the house on the beautiful wooded lot is perfect for privacy, views of the woods and southern exposure. We spent several March afternoons on the sun filled deck. In addition, the hosts thought of everything to accommodate our comfort and needs. We felt welcomed and communication was excellent.'

'Lovely time at this clean and well kept home near Greenwood Lake in Bethel. An easy 20-25 minute drive to Sunday River, this home is well-stocked, comfortable, and remote offering a little downtime after a full day on the slopes. Teenaged boys enjoyed hot tub and ping pong table. Kitchen was clean, bedrooms comfortable, and utensils and cooking appliance / surfaces all worked well. 'This was a great house for our family of 5 to stay at while skiing at Pleasant Mountain. It was very clean, the bedding was comfortable (plenty of pillows), and the kitchen had everything we needed. The electric woodstove upstairs was cozy and kept the house warm, along with the mini splits upstairs and downstairs. The hot tub was a nice way to relax after a day of skiing, it's accessed through the outside, so bring flip flops. It's less than 5 minutes to drive to the mountain- great location....

'We only had a very brief stay, alas, but made the most of the opportunity as best we could. A few updates are needed with the introductory welcome materials and equipment information that will be easy but useful to correct. Glad we had a chance to pause in western Maine, with a view of close mountains and the distant Presidential Range in NH. A couple of kitchen tweaks will be helpful for our cooking happy selves, though we enjoyed the spacious kitchen with adequate equipment, beautiful place...

'This is an ideal location for a fun getaway for any season. Plenty of room for a large/extended family. While there is a road between the house and lake it didn’t detract from the experience at all. Pro tip, in cooler seasons turn on the ceiling fans to push the warmer air down. Otherwise the main room will feel cold. The dock is slightly off level and a couple doors don’t latch completely but those are just signs of a well loved camp.'
