'My daughter and I spent Mother's Day weekend plus a couple more days at this cottage, both last year and this year. It's clean, bright and cheery with a great view of the lake. My daughter went kayaking while I watched from the deck. We went into town on the Saturday night for a nice dinner, but other than that, we spent most of the time in the cottage. Oh, we got tattoos!! That was fun!'

'The cottage was our home away from home for a week while visiting our cousin who is going to school at UM in Ann Arbor. The home is a short drive (25-30 min) from the Big House, so it was perfect for a UM football weekend. If you're looking for a quiet escape with EVERYTHING you could think to need for a week on the lake, this is it. Our family of 5 had an amazing trip out from CA. Can't wait to be back.'

'Very Nice home with updated bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. Great entertainment area for watching movies when weather was not great. 3 full bathrooms and a great master bedroom suite. The lake view was very cool. and the dock area and boat very nice. The home is in a lagoon area so Not great swimming by dock but short way out the water clears up nicely.'

'This was a wonderful stay, we visited the University of Michigan for a visit and dance team clinic. The location was perfect close to everything, shops, restaurants, and bars. The property was clean and comfortable and Dina the host was responsive and helpful. Coming back in my next stay at Ann Arbor'

'The house was so relaxing and perfect for our family lots of space. The pontoon boat was definitely worth the money due to was able to go out on lake as much as we wanted. Neighborhood is really only 1 big block and worth walking around not sure golf cart was needed. Loved having access to the basketball hoop.'

'Peaceful retreat was exactly that. Just beautifully decorated; serene surroundings, quiet. Thankful that pets were welcome. Other guests in a connecting space tried to open the connecting door this morning. Glad it was locked. Overall very comfortable'

'This is a nice house in a great neighborhood. It’s close to everything in Ann Arbor. Open garage to park in and nice patio furniture out back. A comfortable house. We’ve stayed here twice and definitely would again.'

'My two young daughters (8 & 11) and I loved the house. It's tucked away in a small neighborhood right next to downtown Howell, nice and quiet on an inlet to the nearby lake, with everything you would want within 5-10 minutes (groceries, restaurants, pharmacy, etc.). The house is perfectly stocked in the kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms which was nice, and the host was very gracious and responsive. The house itself was the perfect size for us but could've held a few more people easily. It had...

'This was perfect place to gather our family. We thoroughly enjoyed the back porch with the view of the pond and wildlife including deer, turkeys, turtles, cranes, geese, ducks, raccoons and we could hear so many birds including peacocks. The children chairs, tables, books and toys were an appreciated touch. I would rent again given the opportunity. '

'Everything was as-advertised in a good way. Most notable was the fact that i initially went to the wrong address (it was dark) and the manager answered their phone to help me locate the property. High marks on communications and accessibility with the managers'

'We stayed 5 days during our son's graduation from UM. While it's approx. a 30 min drive from Ann Arbor, it was a perfect location for us to get out of the craziness of AA during this time. Enjoying the evenings watching the sunsets over the lake was perfect ends to each days activities. The house has all the amenities needed, including fully stocked kitchen for all our cooking needs. The beds were also very comfortable and it helped to have the 3 full baths for us to get ready in each morning....
