'This was a great place to use as a base for our 6 day stay in Launceston. very centrally located. Handy to IGA and Woolies. We like to shop locally then mainly do our own cooking so the really well-equipped kitchen set up was ideal for us. (Maybe some instructions on the use of the microwave + a Microwave safe dish or two for reheating, cooking veggies etc. We bought a DECOR one, suited us just fine.) 'Modern and Convenient at Newstead is exactly that! A great base to explore Launceston and surrounding areas. The house is well stocked, with great facilities for cooking and washing. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and supermarkets are only a short drive away. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!!'

'The home was spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. We walked into town on several days - no need to find somewhere to park the car - and sampled some of the excellent food offerings. (Tatler Lane for breakfast was a hit. The outdoor areas were large and provided plenty of space to relax. Parking the car was a little challenging at first due to the steepness of the drive, however we soon got the hang of it. The owner was quick to respond to queries and provided helpful information.'

'Prima accommodatie, ook na late aankomst is het goed en heel prettig geregeld. Parkeren totaal geen probleem. Ligging is heel rustig maar behalve de prachtige golfbaan, is er niets in de directe omgeving, behalve een casino dan. '
