Amazing house and location!
We just finished up our week here in St. Lucia. This house was perfect for us. We had the dock so Captain Cliffs boating could come pick us up right outside. We had the grocery store around the corner for when we wanted to eat in and all of the restaurants right outside the gate for when we didn’t. We enjoyed sitting out on the back patio at night and listening to the fish jump. We had no problems with mosquitoes or any other bugs. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Esther was very nice and helpful. We had Donald as our driver for the week and he was also very nice and helpful. He recommended the street party on Friday night and we had a blast. I definitely recommend this house and visiting St. Lucia!

Lovely harbour-front home
Clean, well-equipped and spacious home in the heart of Rodney Bay. Close to beach, stores and restaurants. Lovely covered outdoor space with a view of the marina. Warm and quiet pool on property. We were well cared for by Esther, the housekeeper and Illtyd, the concierge. Owner Yvonne was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Villa - As Advertised!
If you're looking for an alternative to a resort, this is it! Our experience with Yvonne (owner) was excellent. She reached out to us at the time of booking and was very helpful leading up to our stay - if she couldn't help - she directed us to Illtyd (concierge). We arrived on a Sunday evening, Ester (housekeeper) was there to meet us (with rum punch chilling in the fridge) and showed us around the house. Ester was terrific the entire time - even ran into her at the Castries Market and she helped us find mangos. Just a heads up, the community does have a gate that works via remote (no code) so when you arrive, make sure you coordinate your time or have a phone number ready so Ester can let you through the gate! Illtyd stopped by on Monday morning and gave us a quick rundown on the area and offered to make any arrangements for transportation, day trips, or dinner reservations. I'm a planner, so I jumped the gun on some day excursions, but Illtyd was very helpful with dinner reservations / arranging for ground transportation - ask for Ernie - he's great! I used What's App to communicate with Illtyd and she typically responded within a few minutes. The house was as advertised and is very well kept. The private dock is awesome. We went on a day excursion and the charter boat picked us up and dropped us off right outside of our unit. The location is great - the mall is across the street, plenty of food options, and is less than a 15-minute walk. We loved it!!!

Beautiful Property in small gated community
The house is in a small gated community in Rodney Bay, across the road from shops and restaurants. The pool area is small but quiet and a great way to cool down, the beach is about 5 minutes walk from the property. The house itself is exactly as the pictures show, it’s light, bright, clean and spacious. There is a lovely breeze that flows through the house when the doors are open and the outdoor sitting area is a perfect place to sit and watch the flying fish. The views from two of the bedroom balconies are over the marina and perfect for watching the sunrise.. Having a housekeeper (she’s lovely) is a bonus, we didn’t use the concierge service as much as we could have but it was useful for arranging transfers. If we return to St Lucia, we would certainly come back to the Harbour.

Great first visit to St Lucia
The property is even better located than described. You are on the main Rodney Bay road right across many restaurants the grocery store and coffee shops. For first time visitors the roads on the island are a little bit of a shock, one lane up and down the mountain with sharp curves. Take a water taxi if you can, picks up right at the back of the house, call rule the tide water taxi at 758-716-6733. We will be back

Location and view
We just got back from St. Lucia and really enjoyed this property. Spent a lot of time on the verandah, very sizeable. Exceptionally clean, Esther did a great job keeping the place clean for us. Since we signed up for a boat charter, it was wonderful to get dock service. We felt like we were leading glamourous lives! Had a little too much noise from the bar next door on both Friday and Saturday nights but other than that absolutely no complaints!

Home from Home in the Caribbean
So good we booked to return. The location was ideal for us, we loved to walk to the beach or the marina or just sit at the accomodation. The house had everything in it that you would need. Ester, the housekeeper looked after us very well. Great choice of restaurants nearby with Thursday night Fish and Chips a must at the house a few doors away. We have already booked to return.

Wonderful place!!
Wow! We loved staying at #17! This home is beautiful - very spacious, spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, well equipped kitchen, beautiful views onto the harbor. We enjoyed the patio/open air room off of the living room every day and also every evening. There were lounge chairs with cushions provided that we could take out on the well manicured lawn. There was daily housekeeping that included changing our towels every other day, changing the bed mid-week, and general cleaning of the house. Spotless! The homeowners are so thoughtful - there were electric converters in just about every room, umbrellas by the door in case of rain, even beach bags! It is obvious that Yvonne and Peter love this home and take very good care of it! If we get back to St. Lucia, we would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Yvonne and Peter! Additionally, the location is very convenient and it's easy to get taxis, the 1A bus, groceries, restaurants, etc. Highly highly recommend.

Great value and location
This townhouse is in a great location, conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants, groceries, shops, and the beach. The dock lends itself well for water taxi service. Finding something this convenient is rare in Saint Lucia. Our housekeeper and concierge did a fabulous job giving an overview of the home and amenities as well as the local highlights. The living space was well-suited for our family of five adults with three bedrooms. We would definitely book this townhome again.

Breath Taking

Peaceful retreat
My family and I stayed here in July/August 2022, and loved it. The local beach is a short walk away, a wide choice of restaurants and stores right on your doorstep, and Esther the housekeeper added a great warmth to our visit. The views across the harbor, both day and night, are delightfully relaxing. We took a boat across to pigeon island, and it picked us up from the dock right in front of the property! Absolutely perfect.

A Wonderful Haven in Rodney Bay
This is a beautiful and extremely well managed property. Even before we arrived, the owner and concierge provided excellent communication and arranged the details to support our stay so the vacation with 3 small children was smooth and pleasant. The villa is very spacious and well decorated and the location was very convenient for shopping, restaurants and the beach, even daily ice cream cones! The children loved swimming in the pool and watching the boats from the dock. Our daily housekeeper was also very helpful and pleasant. The concierge smoothed any issues that arose, for example with car rental companies, and arranged excursions with ease and efficiency. All of the family are looking forward to returning again!

Wonderful winter getaway
Owner Yvonne immediately answered our many, many questions before arrival. Esther, the housekeeper and Illtyd, the concierge, were extremely helpful and kind throughout our five-week stay. The location of the condo is excellent - shopping, restaurants, and the beach within a few minutes walk. We never needed a car. The kitchen has every possible utensil, appliance and spices. I swam in the pool everyday; and we enjoyed the breezes through every level of the condo, and hardly needed to use the A/C at all. The island itself is gorgeous, and the people so friendly. In all our VRBO stays over the years, we have never experienced such "wrap-around" care as we had from these three ladies, nor enjoyed such a spacious and beautiful condo. The Harbour #17 is wonderful!

Location Steals The Show!
We arrived on Boxing Day! The House Keeper greeted us with a warm welcome. It just so happen on the day of our arrival there was a set cure-few of 6pm. The house keeper only casually mentioned the grocery store closed. But the whole town shutdown and we all went to bed hungry and confused! The concierge assumed we were told about the cure-few as she didn’t check in with us until the second day of our stay. The location was amazing, but I was disappointed in a few things- the location of the actual townhouse, the location of the pool and the awful smell of the bay! Ohh and before I forget, only one TV /cable worked in the entire house! We have rented vacation homes with VRBO for several years— this Villa and the experience of our stay fell flat! This could be the perfect rental for somebody else, just not for our family.

Dear Kim, I was sad and surprised to read your feedback on your three night stay at our holiday home. In 13 years of rentals we have only ever had positive feedback. I'm sorry things didn't quite meet your expectations. From speaking to our local agent it seems like a number of external factors conspired against your visit to the North of the Island following your time at one of the hotels in the South - the island's covid curfew restrictions which were the same in the north as you had had in the south (the worldwide pandemic has caused so much disruption/distress for so many); the location of our house being quite a distance from your friends property; and the unpleasant smell from the bay. I have checked with our agent who confirms that they offered you an earlier check-in on Boxing Day to ensure you were settled before curfew but that you declined the offer. I'm pleased that our housekeeper was able to greet you - she is a gem - and I apologise that, due to the Christmas Bank Holidays, you didn't see the concierge the following day. The 'smell from the bay' is a surprise as we have never heard this from other guests or experienced it ourselves - I'm sorry I don't have any explanation but wish it had been different for you. Re the TV I believe the problem was with the cable service provider and was reported as soon as our agent was aware; again please accept my apologise. I truly hope that your overall holiday on the beautiful island of St Lucia was fabulous and that you return in the future for another Caribbean holiday. Wonderful harbor view
We had a great vacation. This property was very clean and comfortable. Wonderful harbor view with just a short walk to Reduit beach. Short walk to grocery store and many restaurants. Traffic is crazy around Rodney bay but we do go the week before Christmas. We also enjoyed the pool that we had all to ourselves.

Excellent Service
Our stay in the Rodney Bay Villa was beautiful, with plenty of space and a beautiful view. The property was exactly as advertised. Ittyd, your concierge, was an excellent resource. She made sure we had everything and set up all our excursions. She went above and beyond for us. During our stay, we experience a hurricane, and she made sure we had everything during the hurricane and kept us updated. Ester and Desir were also fantastic. The grocery is a 2 min walk, and the mall is right across the street; Matthew's and Big Chef Steakhouse are two excellent restaurants to eat at, make sure you visit. The catamaran sail was terrific, a must-do.

Great time in Rodney Bay
The property was exactly as advertised. Illtyd, Ester and Victor were all very friendly and professional. Our weather was perfect and all of the shopping, dining and entertainment were right outside our gate. We went to Massey store almost every day for beer, wine, snacks and staples. It was directly across the street in the mall. We dove the reef near Anse Chastenet on three days and went to the rainforest on one day. Beautiful! I hope to go back sometime. Outstanding villa, close to everything!
The villa on the Harbour is everything the listing says! Beautiful, relaxing view and very comfortable lodging, our back yard was the Harbour. The housekeeper Esther was wonderful and our concierge was super friendly, helpful in scheduling tours and easily accessible. Supermarkets, shopping and buses are all a 5 minute walk away, which is good because cabs are expensive on the island. A beach is about 10 minute walk but we rented a boat to go to nicer Pigeon Island beach. Rodney bay is over an hour ride from the airport so arrange for transportation through a company called Quikkab and you will save a LOT of money! Wonderful place to stay for a great vacation
We stayed at The Harbour #17 for 10 days in early January 2020. The house was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated with all the amenities that we could have asked for. Having the sliding doors open onto a lovely small patio, grassy area and dock in Rodney Bay was an added bonus each day with my morning coffee. Our college-aged kids had their own comfortable bedrooms with ensuite bathroom. Shopping for groceries and other items was only a 5 minute walk away. The concierge, Illtyd, was easy to contact, made great suggestions for outings and places to eat and made reservations for activities as needed. Esther, who kept the place clean, and made some wonderful dinners for us, was friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. Overall, #17 The Harbour was a great find that added to a wonderful visit to St. Lucia.

Beautiful and well kept property and grounds. Beautiful inside and out-the pictures represent the beauty of this townhome. Lots of little extras to make your stay easier-spices if you want to cook, beach blankets, towels, coolers, even a football. Great location in the heart of Rodney Bay-easy walking distance to shops and restaurants and the beach. Yvonne makes the whole process easy from reservation to check out. There is a local concierge who will meet you to answer questions and tell you about local attractions and restaurants (and can help you make reservations before arrival). She is available to answer questions during your stay as well. There is also a housekeeper to welcome you and keep the place tidy. An excellent place to stay in Rodney Bay!

Great location, beautiful home!
We loved our stay in this home in Rodney Bay. The home is comfortable and spotless with a beautiful view. It's within walking distance of many restaurants and shopping. Esther greeted us with rum punch upon arrival. We took a water taxi right from the dock in the back of the house and spent a day on Pigeon Island. A really great experience and I would highly recommend the property!

Perfect Location in Rodney Bay
A total of 6 guests stayed at the townhouse and it was the perfect location in Rodney Bay. Close to shops, mall, supermarket, restaurants and the beach! The communication was EXCELLENT and any inquiries were addressed immediately. There was an issue with the water draining in one bedroom and they sent over a plumber within 30-60 minutes! We were able to arrange for breakfast & dinner cooked by the housekeeper, Esther. As island people, we were blown away by her cooking especially the fried bakes! We’re still talking about it. The only drawback was the loft on the 3rd floor. The stairs to the loft were steep & narrow. Because it’s on the 3rd floor, it was the hottest of the rooms. Even after running the A/C the moment we got to the house, it still was uncomfortable to stay in. The 6th person ended up sleeping on the couch downstairs. Perhaps getting a standing air conditioning unit for the room would be the fix for that but then those 2 flights of steps are still a doozy. All in all, I would highly recommend this townhouse for anyone wanting an amazing stay in Castries! Thanks again for your amazing hospitality during our vacation!

Had a wonderful stay at 17 The Harbour.The property is in excellent order throughout; very nicely decorated and furnished and very well equipped.The location is ideal as you can walk to shops/supermarkets, bars, restaurants and the beach. The house overlooks the water and is quiet, scenic and relaxing as well as totally secure. The housekeeper is lovely and makes sure you have everything you need. Will definitely be back. 5* Property!!

Comfortable and spacious apartment
The overall stay in this apartment was very good. We have over the years have rented many villas and apartments, but I would have to rate this as one of the best, especially as it was a reasonable price and in a quite but central position. All rooms are large and comfortable, with a lovely view over the harbour. Esther the housekeeper was absolutely brilliant as stated in previous reviews and couldn’t do enough for you. On our arrival Esther had made some rum punch for us which was her own recipe, talk about drinkable, it was the best rum punch ever. When we did have a problem with one of the air cons on our first night, it was promptly fixed the following day. Our only downside was that a lot of the bars and eating places were closed especially along the road that runs alongside Reduit beach. Could have something to do with the hotels that are in that part of Rodney Bay not having many holiday makers so the trade is not there for the local bars. Having said that, all the bars and restaurants in the heart of Rodney Bay where the apartment is are open. This did not detract from our very relaxing holiday in a very good holiday home. ENJOY.

Fantastic property......so comfortable!
What a perfect vacation.....location is everything and this property receives a “10”. Shopping, nightlife, the beach......all within walking distance. The accommodations were better than what the pictures showed. We are already planning our return!,

We have just spent 14 perfect days & nights at the very well appointed 3-storey town house at The Harbour in the heart of Rodney Bay Village. The location couldn't have been better - easy access to beach, shops, bars, restaurants from the rear of the house and beautiful waterside peace and tranquility from the front. The house had everything we needed and is very well furnished and we were looked after superbly by Esther the housekeeper. The house is located on a small well maintained, secure, gated complex with beautiful gardens, pool and car parking. If you are looking for self catered accommodation in St Lucia look no further.

Fantastic location
The property is all you could ask for in a property rental it is in a great location in Rodney bay everything is at your finger tips and at the same time you have the quitenes and serenity of overlooking the harbour as well. The beach is about a 10 min walk away passing various bars and restaurants along the way so plenty of places to stop for a drink or a bite to eat. The swimming pool at the complex is not in view of the house and does not be suitable for smaller children . The perfect holiday for adults in my opinion . Special mention to Esther the house keeper nothing was to much trouble for her to do and everyone who was involved in making our stay Many thanks
