The Soco House is staffed with wonderful people. They are what makes the property. The overall property is older but well cared for. The food is fantastic. Everything is al a carte with lots of choices. We liked this much better than the typical buffet. the pool are is peaceful. this is not a place for spring break atmosphere.

Without doubt the rudest customer service I have ever experienced staying at a hotel. The hotel is overall clean with nice facilities however is overshadowed by the appalling manner of the staff. The vast majority are incapable of smiling and are blatantly rude. For breakfast expect a wait of 1 to 1.5hrs for your food to be served, the majority of days we simply accepted its the way it is however on one occasion had a morning excursion booked. On this particular day we arrived for breakfast 1.5hrs in advance and made a special request as politely as possible for our food to be as fast as possible given we were on a schedule. Unsurprisingly despite several reminders, breakfast arrived 1hr later. When we asked for the manager to complain his response to our concerns was ‘ok not a problem’. If you are seeking a relaxing friendly boutique hotel, stay away. Soco Hotel is definitely not the place.

For the most part, most of the staff was amazing… Some need help in the smile department. I was disappointed with the menu, where I was told it changes every two days but that’s a myth… That said. I was impressed with the head staff/ manager that tried to accommodate my expectations by addressing the catch of the day situation. I was disappointed that some staff were not on board with each other. We would be told one thing and another staff would tell a different story pertaining to activities or addressing an issue. I called for towels and to have the washroom cleaned, a staff came and partially cleaned, I was not too adamant for cleaning the whole suit, but I asked if I can have tissue, since all was finished, I left the resort for home, which was Tuesday morning, and I am still waiting on the tissue. For an all inclusive adult resort, there could be much more fun and exciting activities to entertain and encourage the guest to spend more time engaging and dancing I was impressed that the ground staff were always doing an amazing job with the landscaping and surrounding areas. Enough said! I enjoyed my stay and wish all the staff the very best for 2024!

Die gebuchte Junior-Suite hatte anders als auf Expedia beschrieben weder Balkon noch Terrasse. Viele notwendige Informationen beim Check-in wurden nur auf Nachfrage mitgeteilt. Personen, mit „besonderen“ Ernährungswünschen (vegetarisch, Allergien,…) müssen die Mahlzeiten vorbestellen und bekommen selbst dann nur ein Kompromissgericht. Die Anzahl der Liegemöglichkeiten am Pool entspricht nicht ansatzweise den Bedürfnissen der Gäste, bereits morgens um 7 Uhr werden Liegen mit Handtüchern reserviert. Die Alternative dazu sind zum Teil kaputte Liegen am Strand (ca. 5 min zu Fuß). Das beworbene Fitness-Studio ist ein Raum für 2 Personen, der vorab gebucht werden muss. Von den 4 angegebenen Bars waren nur 2 geöffnet. Alles in allem ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis schlecht; die Ewartungen an ein All-Inclusive-Resort wurden nicht einmal annähernd erfüllt.

Soco House was more of a spend then night hotel. It is not on the beach. there is only one pool in the center of the hotel rooms, there were no acitivities offered, morning yoga/water aerobics, any activity was offered by outside source. no problems reserving acitivity. Rooms were small and clean, the lighting was minimal,no beside tables lamps for extra lighting. the bathroom has bad lighting and the vanity was to high for a 5 foot person to wash her face and brush teeth. Nice stand up shower, the balcony was nice. property is located in a neighborhood, can hear dogs barking across the street. there is no direct acces to the beach, you had to walk thru an apartment property or walk thru a vacant lot to get there. /staff friendly and helpful. 2 out of 3 meals were usually very good. There is a different menu for each meal, Meals have designated time set. I would probably not stay here again due to no beach access.

As you mentioned, staff are friendly and will do anything that we can for our guests, to ensure that they have a lovely holiday. Our hotel is accurately described on our website. You do not have to walk through property to get to the beach as we offer to escort you the first time; its a three minutes walk. Our lighting is set for the ambiance but we would have been happy to re- adjust, if we knew it was an issue. Freshly cooked meals takes a little time and will not be as quick as a buffet. Upon arrival, we were asked to pay 12USD by a not too friendly receptionist. We were asked what occasion caused us to be there, we said 27th wedding anniversary but that went on deaf ear. The room was way on top of flights of wet stairs. Puddles of water were all on the steps, which we weren't given advance warning to be careful. This was a figure it out for yourself check in. The bell boy seemed to be in a hurry to go back and do nothing on the main area.The room was plain with just the basic. No flowers or welcoming features. The ac remote had no batteries or case cover. The kettle, air dryer, cups, glasses and condiments were inside the top dresser draw. The shower had no door or curtain and the warm/hot water took about 5 mins to warm up (the sink water was still cold when we check out). The tiny blue fridge was empty...no complimentary water. The dinner experience was wonderful. The food was great. The staff and service was excellent. The breakfast was ok. My husband omelette was a bit cold for his liking. His hot chocolate was great. The morning staff were ok, not as friendly as the night staff. We did received two complimentary glasses of champagne. We noticed that the spa was closed so all that amenities online were null and void or doesn't existed why we were there. There is a pool but no one was in it and all the chairs were cushionless (cushions were stocked wet in a corner). One of the main entrancehad boarded door. For the price, hotel needs upgrading.

The property is beautiful and we had a wonderful time. The staff are friendly and helpful. Shout out to Michele and Rose (bartenders). There are some areas that need to be improved. Our room 123 had a problem with the shower water draining properly and there was standing water on the left side of the shower. I notified the housekeeper and front desk but nothing was done to change our room for our 6 days. We had to wait on the cleaning lady to get the water out in the morning. The front desk needs to triage better. We checked in for our 6 days but they checked us out after our first day. I had to give the info again. The restaurant is lovely but one day we went to lunch and the menu had seared tuna nicoise. When we got our food there was can tuna. I asked the wait staff and she said it was seared tuna...we went back and forth until my husband ask that we speak to the chef. Eventually the chef showed up to our table to explain that it is seared tuna. Once I mentioned that I have a photo of the menu and nicoise, she started blaming the staff for not mentioning the correction and that she did not have time to go to the fish market.... Something to know is that there is only one small trash can in the room and no receptacle on the resort to dispose of your items (you have to take it to the bar or ask staff to pick up). Our small fridge was not getting cool, but they dropped a cool box that we used throughout our stay. The hotel is lovely and I would stay again.

The facilities were clean at all times and the staff gave excellent service. The only thing I would mention is the long wait for my meal one night out of the 3 nights that I stayed. The food however was excellent and the staff at the restaurant and front desk were very pleasant and friendly. The bar service was excellent and the drinks were great.

My husband and I went for our honeymoom. We were very happy with our stay. Drinks and food were excellent. Food portions were on the small side, however, it was all inclusive so just order an additional starter or entree. Staff was very accommodating and respectful. Couple quirky things, for example, no outlets in the bathroom. Weird but made it work. Soco House did not disappoint.

Soco House makes a great first impression when you arrive. The blue & white decoration looks classy & elegant and really makes it stand out from the other hotels. The 'inside 'outside' design also creates a relaxed and airy atmosphere. I'm pleased to say I had a great experience at Soco House. The staff are ever available and always helpful. I had a deluxe that was immaculate and spacious, with a large balcony overlooking the pool. This s not your typical all inclusive hotel in the sense that there is no buffet at meal times Instead, you get more of a fine dining experience with an a la carte menu. I think this is a positive move and reduces food waste. There is a good selection of meals and special requests are catered for. Cocktail selections are plentiful and include some delicious island blends. This was my first trip to St Lucia but I will be back and would stay at Soco House again.

Everything was very clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent. Only thing I thought was misleading was the property location. The map on expedia puts the hotel on the beach side of the street and its not. There is another hotel between Soco and the Beach. But it was only a short walk not bad at all. I would definitely stay there again.

I recently stayed at the SocoHouse Hotel during my trip to SLU Overall, I had a pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the check-in process was smooth. The room was clean and comfortable with modern amenities such as a flat-screen TV and high-speed internet access. The hotel also had excellent dining options and a well-equipped gym. The location of the hotel was convenient, with easy access to (nearby attractions). Overall, I would recommend this hotel to travelers looking for a comfortable stay in SLU.

No compassion for mother in law’s death. My mother in law passed away the day before we were supposed to start our 5 day staff at Soco House. After many attempts to just get a credit for a future stay, providing evidence of obituary and offering to provide the death certificate, Soco house has failed to provide such a credit. I keep following every other day with promises to provide but still nothing. Imreally don’t understand how they could be so cold.

Things WE LIKED: Staff were really friendly and helpful for any needs and questions we had. Hotel is near to Rodney Beach and there is a dedicated area on the beach for the hotel, which is amazing. Food in the restaurant was quite tasty. Things WE DID NOT LIKE: This is not a 4-star hotel to start with; more like a good 3-star hotel. Hence, we felt it was too expensive for the value. Strange all-inclusive concept with a la carte restaurant. This was good on one side as they freshly cooked for us, HOWEVER, waiting times were way too long (40min-1 hour generally). We got very frustrated just sitting and waiting for food to arrive. If they are not able to manage a la carte style restaurant, management should introduce buffet style, which most all-inclusive hotels do. Very limited raw vegetables (for salad) and fruit options, no freshly squeezed juices. Basic things like honey ran out quickly, same soup was given a few times with slightly different ingredients. Rooms were not soundproof at all, so we could hear people around the pool at night. There were not enough sun lounge chairs around the pool. We stayed 9 days and felt it was too much. 5-6 days could have been enough, considering there was really nothing to do in the area. Age group was generally 50 .

This property is still getting everything done. There were workers in the property regularly but it was quiet and they were not intrusive. Pros Beautiful room. Staff was wonderful, courteous, and helpful Food- some lacked spice and taste but that’s likely a personal preference. There was different options for every meal Drinks- well done by staff Location- Easy to walk to town and to the beach. There is a dedicated area to go to the beach. Also very nice they will get you a small cooler and fill with drinks for the beach Cons- only two Pool loungers- guest are bringing down towels and “staking” a chair at 7 am and not using the chairs at all until after lunch. Easy fix- don’t give out towels. Have a “towel bar” where guest check out towels for the days and return that day for new towels. No one can get a towel before a certain time. Also, if no one is seen at a chair for 30 min-1hr—- remove towel for another guest to use Noise—- The rooms are all centered around the pool and hence the bar. Last call is 1045 but some guests chose to stay up until 1 am shouting and carrying on and it is very loud in the rooms. There is no way to get around it. Maybe ask them to go inside to the other areas which aren’t adjacent to the rooms to continue their evening?

Just what we needed on landing in St Lucia after a 26 hr travel day. Great staff, great food, wonderful people. The beach access is second to none. Room was perfect, bed was "just right". Concierge was super helpful. Saturday was piano night with a great player/singer performing. 10/10 all the way..

We stayed 4 nights for our honeymoon and enjoyed every second. The staff was 2nd to none ! Management excellent!! They took the time to ensure we were comfortable daily. Love the fact that the opinions of guests actually matter . Food was lovely- housekeeping great -- Would recommend this hotel without hesitation. 5 STARS!!!!
